This should be my first Android tablet (currently using iPad) but unfortunately I need 3G support. How I wish Google will release a model with 3G support even with a little extra amount.

No USB OTG.only connects through wifi.and 1.2 mp camera shoots 720p video sufficient enoguht for video chats.back camera is removed to cut the price and its not very useful in these kind of devices so its a nice decision.only disapointment is that u have to be in the wifi zone every time u connect to the internet.this thing should be improved.rest of the specs are good or even best at this price segment.people saying it would break when fall down,i like to remind them its not made up of glass and maunfacturers check the product before launch.and tabs are not like cell phone because of the larger size they are automaticaly handled with care unlike cell phones.so relaxx.the best alternative i have seen till now is acer a110 wtih almost same specs but having ICS+sim card slot+expandable memory.go check that out.

wow..a nice device..ASUS + google
althought it not a GSM device, no microSD slot,no 3G
but it must more better than tab 2 7.0 couse of Quad-core 1.3 GHz..with a Corning Gorilla Glass it maybe no need screen protecter but will it break when it fall down?? hope that it will release in Malaysia..India maybe release in August..^^

is a nice tablet..
althought not a GSM device, no microSD slot,no 3G..
but this the 1st ASUS GOOGLE tablet..
maybe 2nd tablet in the coming day..
with Corning Gorilla Glass so its maight be no screen protector and will it break when it fall down??
is must more better than tab 2 7.0 that had released..^^

This Nexus 7 is great n the price is reasonable too. It doesn't matter even it has no back camera , the front camera should be more importance. But the most sadness is it will be lacking of flash player unlike it's previous Nexus :(

Hey GSMArena, the front camera present on this device is specified under the label 'Primary', which is confusing as secondary is the norm.
Also in the blog section,iFixit's tear-down has revealed 'resistive' touchscreen controllers(ELAN Microelectronics eKTF3624BWS – Controller for Resistive Touchscreen
ELAN Microelectronics eKTH1036BWS – Controller for the Resistive Touchscreen)...but capacitive is what is given in the specs...could you please clear this confusion regarding the touchscreen type used in Nexus 7...thank you.

They could have place a fine camera at the back. A 1.2 megapixel primary camera is a DISASTER! Oh boy...

This is simply awesome piece of tehcnology.people complainig for storage and 3g should see the pricing first.Have you heard of a $199 branded(google+asus) tablet having this kind of specs ??? desires are never ending,so accept what is made for you with such great pricing.I am an Indian,i perosnally think the 8gb version shouldn't come to India,this will make money for them and storage for us with a slight increase in expense.Lastly the good new for Indians is that the magical product will come ot India after spetember said by an asus spokesperson to times of India
