Hi all,
I have decided to buy Asus P320 Mobile. regarding my job i have to travel lot of place in tamil nadu.this mobile has gps but no navigation software. let me know which software is suitable to me.
i need navigation software consist all NH and SH integrated. if anybody know good navigation software that doesn't required GPRS.

Can I save maps in storage card (8 GB sandisk) and if Google maps or Yahoo maps, can be read from local storage instead looking in network or GPRS.
Is there any application for this if google map cudn t see locally.
Is tom tom torrent avaialbe for indian maps, has anybody installed.

BEST BEST BEST.......... in it's range and considering other windows phones this is the best phone available.... don't think go and pick it up........... all the issues regarding sync and memory are fixed now..........
i hav tried HTC and other brands like e71........ no wayyyyy .......... asus is asus....... the best one available........... business category people grab it now.......

hammy, 19 Oct 2008i picked it up just 2 days back, its worth the money i gues... morehammy, You need to change your USB mode to see your Storage Card even you're connected to the Computer. Go to Start -> Connections tab -> USB setting - you probably have the "Mass storage device (card reader)" option selected right now - choose the "ActiveSync (Turbo mode)" option instead and you'll be okay.

Hi All
Got this set last week and was able to explore some bit of features.
Had been using XDA2 for last 3 years with older ver win mobile.
This is featherweight in comparison with smaller screen size.
However like this set because of updated windows OS, wifi and gps support and pretty decent price
BAD: small words and tight navigation. low RAM :(, but price compensates this, got my xda 2 for 31 k
Queries:
Can I see the option of getting NEW in bottom left corner as in windows mobile, not able to find the option in this version.

Backups
There used to be an application Xbackup in xda11, din t find this option in program in this. Does Asus backup behave in similar terms. Does it also saves sms, was not able to save in XDA2.
Can applications be installed in storage card, instead of rom. Active sync for XDA2 did had option of saving//installing application directly to storage card. Here I see CAB files installing directly on rom. Way out needed.
Configuring Emails: can the storage happen directly in the card.
or probably if anyboady has some best practices of avoiding usage or dependancies on Ram/ROM and using micro SD for this, that would be great.

i picked it up just 2 days back, its worth the money i guess, pretty user friendly,coming to the memory card query yeah it doesn show the memory card icon when stuff is being transferred from the comp, but once u safely remove the device the icon comes over in the phone with all the data u've transferred present in it :):)...i am happy with it, well it needs to be handled with care unlike the nokia's im used to, to be honest i am enjoying the experience of my first touch phone :D:D

i baught this set in september. i have same rom which i took from site, but still no sound during call problem is with me, which they say is 'fixed' in this software release... are u guys are also experiencing the same problem?
but i must say, this set is awsome.at this price , it has all features which even high end sets lacks...

xavier, 16 Oct 2008hang a lot! a true nightmareIf u have the latest firmware, it wudnt hang so much.
And also dont install any and every .cab that u see. Be selective of the softwares that u want to keep.
Things wud be much better then...
