Richard, 18 Sep 2008I'm very interested with p320.
i'm looking for a gps.
so... moreThe GPS works fine in a car, I used it for about 2500 km so far.
2 times the software had problems finding the correct position/route (some iGo 2006 version), but I don't know if they occured due to a signal loss or due to software bugs.
So overall, it's very good for driving in a car.

This can support upto 1 TB theoretically; but due to a limitation in FAT-32, the maximum capacity is 32 GB. Right now cards are available only upto 16 GB I guess. No maximum capacity limit is mentioned in the specification.

Hi, i just wanted to post on here since i now have an asus p320. Got it from Hong Kong and converted it to English using the official ASUS ROM update for WWE and pairing that with the chinese autorun file which gets around the different language thingo. The phone is amazing, i have had an O2 XDAII mini and an ASUS p735 in the past and this thing feels just as fast as before. it looks great and everythign works well with no stability issues at all. thanks everyone for their positng in the past, i read through the entire document before i bought it and the reviews an opinions helped a lot. cheers, Warren.

sharad, 16 Sep 2008hey guys could anybody tell me about the maximum expandable... more4 GB is enough if you don't want to store your entire MP3 or movie collection.
The P320 supports microSDHC cards, the maximum I have seen is 8 GB.
Avoid all King_max and the 4 GB Trans_cend cards, with them you cannot make a firmware update (Asus says so in a readme.txt).

sharad, 16 Sep 2008hey guys could anybody tell me about the maximum expandable... moreIt supports microSD HC cards, so the maximum you can find; 8 GB for sure.
Avoid all Kingmax cards and 4 GB Transcend cards (with these you cannot make a firmware update, it says in the firmware readme.txt from the Asus site - I also tried with a Kingmax and the updating doesn't work).
A 4 GB card is very OK if you don't want to store your entire music or movies collection.

Gabriel, 16 Sep 2008Thanks Surfer88! So can you watch movies horizontally using... morePrograms, games, photos, videos they all can play on landscape or portrait mode. However, personally I have not spent too much time on video because I have yet to come across a good video player for "you tube" video clips as although the videos play ok, too many interruptions during short frequent buffering sessions. I am not sure whether this is due to the slow processor, slow download speed or not using the correct player....

Have you tried the useful suggestions as provided by Prashant on improving your battery life?
The P320 should easily last one day if you take these measures.
However, it is also possible that the battery is defective...

Gabriel, 15 Sep 2008Does this have an accelerometer for automatically rotate th... moreGabriel, the AsusP320 does not have a auto rotate mechanism. In the you tube video that you referred to, the screen was rotated by tapping stylus on the rotate icon on the bottom right hand corner.
However, the Asus has one button for programming (located on the left hand top side of phone ) and I used this for rotating ( portrait/landscape) views, because the tray icon often not available when using other applications. In this way I can always rotate screen when I want to...
Hope it helps...

Murali, 15 Sep 2008Hey Prashant,
Thx for ur reply. Unfortunately, the issue... moreMurali, If your screen is always on in low intensity, then that may be causing your battery to drain out. Go to Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Power -> Advanced Tab and enable the "Turn off device if not used for" option while choosing a suitable timing of around 1-2 minutes from the dropdown - this should put your phone into a standby mode when it is not being used.
Also, make sure that you don't have Bluetooth, WiFi or GPS enabled when you don't need them, since they are all big battery hogs.
