Is anyone having a problem with their battery here? I wasnt playing any games just watching netflix and when I was about to charge my ROG 5, it suddenly displayed Charging port overheat in less than 1 minute. Then all went to hell after, my phone wont start anymore, when I try to charge it, I can feel the battery overheat. My phone only lasted 1 month. Is anyone having this issue?

in my experience your phone might have Battery issue. i have experience exactly the same problem with my LG G Pro2. restart without any notice and after few weeks going in restart loop unless i plug it to charging.

Please don't buy this phone they have pushed an update a few days ago.86 which caused wifi and hotspot to top working now they are not even acknowledging the issue there are several threads in their forums and all but they are not fixing it and neither they are replacing handsets even though in warranty. Don't buy this crap

This phone is very hot even for daily use. It's easily heat even when I only use it for browsing or open IG
When I play light games like mobile legends it's easily reach 43c in 10 minutes

I jst broke my ROG phone 5 display no idea is there motherboard gone too or!! If I'm seeking here for repairing my phone how much cost may it may take or how can I get those..I rang customer care but no response from them.. customer service is very poor Asus

Hi there,
I have one question about the phone.
Does it support wireless charging???
Because in the review they only mentioned the reverse wireless charging and every other website didn't even the asus official store there is also nothing about wireless or reverse wireless charging.
Does anyone has explanation or answer for that.

Attention!! I have a serious battery problem with this asus rog phone 5.
So I'm a user of asus from past one year i bought ASUS rog 3 which i broke lcd last week droped it from counter and orderd lcd for rog 3 and i took rog 5 for use so the battery doesn't stay much as rog 3 and just before one hour from now what happened is when i put a charger battery was 5% and it just goes to 96% i was like wtf. It happend to me last time when i was using Chinese copy phone when i didn't have money.

My ROG 5 16GB RAM just bought for 3 week, and suddenly will restart once per day at midnight start from last week.
I have no idea what is going on, I have no install any apps after third day when I bought, no drop + no factory reset + health battery control, and the system was updated to latest firmware.
The condition restart not in overheat condition also, it just a unknown reason restart. I remember got one time is happening when I watching youtube short video without any cable charging, the room temperature is below 20 degree, It just black screen for around 1 minute and restart itself. Another time is the phone put on the table without using at all, and it was just suddenly restart.
Don't tell me the system got schedule restart phone, schedule restart phone won't just black screen itself without any notification and restart, the important thing is I don't do this kind of setting.
I am not a dumb user, I am a IT programmer, I definitely know how to use phone, this black screen and restart happening make no sense, and no logic.
