unfortunately stopped charging and gets hot. The warranty does not cover in the USA

Been using this phone since early May. I have no issue with this phone except the heat when playing heavy graphic game. I only buy this mainly for gaming so I don't care much for the camera.

i want this phone very much. Because mass multiplayer battle played in iphone 12 pro, galaxy s20, and mi 11 is still laggy.
But rog5' mediocre camera often changed my mind. While only gaming phone can handle heavy multiplayer with better performance.

Same problem I m facing Wifi and Hotspot not working.
Service center say we have to change motherboard becouse of the update .
How I know that the update of our phones is good for my phone's .
5000 cost phones is best older phones is best . First time I saw that update damage wifi .
Expectation drop down on asus product .

Based from reading different user opinions, I think rog 5 has more issues compared to lenovo legion duel 2. I can't decide which of the 2 I should buy, but I think I'm leaning more into lenovo now. Overall, almost all of the new gaming phones has issues with software updates and slow to no response from the companies.

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2021I jst broke my ROG phone 5 display no idea is there motherb... moreYou can connect the phone to a pc to see if it is getting detected to confirm that the phone is alive.
If you already had usb debugging enabled on the phone, you can connect it to a pc and no the pc use the scrcpy software to mirror your phone screen on the the pc. So you can confirm if only the display is damaged and the phone is working, or if the phone has any other issues.
