Which would be better for media like movies and music the asus rog 5 or xiaomi mi 11 or Sony xperia 1 three also would xiaomi mi 11 and sony xperia 1 three be as good for gaming as the Asus rog 5 since they all have the same platform chipset cpu gpu also would the asus rog 5 be good for media as well?

Anonymous, 24 Feb 20211080 is garbage and is unforgivable in 2021, how old is the... moreActually, on a 7", 1920x1080 screen with a pixel density of 314 ppi (this phone has a ppi of 380, and a resolution of 2340x1080), individual pixels are indistinguishable by an average person's (20/20) vision at 1ft (about 30cm) away from the screen. Therefore as long as you're not squinting at the screen from 20cm away or you have perfect vision, you shouldn't really be able to tell the difference.

Also, a higher resolution needs more power, therefore shorter battery life, and you don't want to be gaming while charging, as long as you're using bypass charging which is kind of useless if you actually want to charge your phone and not have it just stay on the same percentage, as it creates a lot of excess heat which degrades the battery much faster. its a balancing act with tech and I can't blame Asus for putting a 1080p display on this device, as gamers look for higher refresh rates instead of resolution anyway, look at the amount of affordable 144/165hz 1080p 24" monitors on the market that are marketed towards gamers, and these have an even lower pixel density, at about 90-100ppi as the pixels are more spread out across the screen, granted you do view a monitor further away then you do your phone, but my point still stands.

1080 is garbage and is unforgivable in 2021, how old is the G-S4 now? How old is the G-S5 active now? (1440) I could care less if its 144hz, can't barely tell the difference from 90 to 144, IF the gpu CAN keep up. The only reason I go a little easy on ROG not having a 3.5mm is because at the very least you can still charge and listen thanks to dual USB.
It needs at least a 1440 90hz edge-to-edge screen to even be as good as a 18 month old OP7. Just remove the front camera altogether for all I care

Ali, 20 Feb 2021I really hope they bring QHD resolution on ROG Phone 5 beca... moreagree... with that huge display and uses amoled, fhd wont be ideal... more true if you have been on higher resolution display on ips... though it is nice that it has wider range of colors...
so there is hoping that gsmarena has not updated this specsheet... 2k display in an amoled is ideal...
