I am still using a Samsung J2 2016 on Android 6.0.1!!!! but I have no problems with it so go for ROG

Android 11 is up in the air, but if I had to guess, its not happening sinxe they never updated the og rog phone to android 10, but they did provide security patches for more than two years.

If you get this rog phone 5, don't expect more than android 12 and 6 months after release, but 2 yrs of security updates. Absolutely unacceptable for 1000$. They've already shown with their first two phones how anemic their support will be.

So that right there makes it worth it. The Red Magic would be a paperweight in most places.

I kinda wanna buy it but I heard gaming phone doesn't have a software update that frequently, like ROG Phone 2 I heard it still stuck on Android 9.0 (correct me if I'm wrong). I still kinda doubt if I wanna buy it or not. Any thoughts?

My S21ULTRA 16gb Ram is overclocked.
Cpu , all 8 cores running at 2.5ghz.
Gpu, 1100mhz, from 700mhz.
Cpu+Gpu hybrid both active when playing games at 75+fps.
This is still 30% faster than the Rog phone.

Nubia red magic 6 cost much less and apart the battery is beter in every aspect.
Dont get me wrong but asking 1300 is too much.

i am happy with my rog phone 3.........i will buy another rog in 5 years when Ram will be 34g and internal storage will be 3 TB hahah

Why no MicroSD on the SIM tray? No excuse for a phone that's unlocked for tweaking & easily rootable - having an SD card to run backups to/from on a modified device is very valuable.
