I read this has the MediaTek MT6338 DAC, does anyone know if this is better than the DAC on the ROG Phone 6 Pro and how does it compare to the ESS Sabre ES9280AC Pro Quad DAC?

Half of the planet dont care about updates especialy people with age of 50+ ubnless they are set to automatic updates. And even then they are bothered by that.

The only thing they are better is on the benchmark score on papers.
In real life experience and better midranger with pricetag of 300-500 will beat Apple like nothing in most aspects.
Not even a raise from dead Seve Jobs would change that fact the Android always was it is and always will be many times over apple in every sector, category etc.
No matter how much apple will try and how much money they dump in they will never ever be better or at the par.

Man you have no idea since 2008 using laptops for gaming and always was very satisfied long time ago before 2010 yes the laptops were overheating a lot and not much helped but nowdays its tottaly different story and my current laptop will outrun your students or gaming PC you use at home like nothing. You have no single idea.

you're going want as much ram as you can get
Definitely prefer the bigger ram amount without thinking twice and wouldn't look back
This undoubtedly a worse opinion too have less ram
Android apps can't just set in cold storage and not use system resources there always at least using a little ram it adds up with big game library that gamer's probably going have on there expensive gaming smartphone so highly ram amount recommend
Would have a lot more ram if it was possible if I was too buy
Mediatek processor gotten paired with the worse ram set am so disappointed

Depends on what you're focused on...
Ram is faster on 6D with Mediatek's with 7500Mb/s compare to 6400Mb/s...but you've got less.
As most flagships has only 12 or even 8GB, I doubt 6D lacks with 16GB!

Amazing there Is now a mediatek flagship processor gaming smartphone
This will be a great smartphone for mediatek fans and gamer's am looking forward too seeing gaming performance compared with its Snapdragon equipment
Just one let down
Why does this smartphone only have 16gb ram :( really asu just why
So yeah Snapdragon version still be slightly better with 18gb ram

But aside from that, they have been equally powerful all the time. But that all ended with the slim laptops.

But that you love the phone, doesn't change the fact that you are wrong. The models can easily be outperformed by others, and the os build is horrible against several other versions. Let's not forget the lack of os support. But good luck in life, with living from benchmarks and assuming that no one else than you, are testing phones.
