I read this has the MediaTek MT6338 DAC, does anyone know if this is better than the DAC on the ROG Phone 6 Pro and how does it compare to the ESS Sabre ES9280AC Pro Quad DAC?

Only difference makes ram and UI more bloatware less power for games.
Asus ROG is well optimised for games and gaming compared to a samsung where UI and bloatware running on backround consumes so much it laggs on complex games such as Diablo, Clash of Lords, Forge of Empires, Forza Motosport, Gensin Impact etc.

Maybe in 30-50 or 100 years someone will devise just a tiny device with single button which after the pressing turns from a receiver into a small phoe, after another press into a tablet, then laptop and back to a tiny receiver device.
You never know until you never try what humans and you can do.

As human body gets aged they loosing more and more brain cells and things they did often in past they simply forget,
This is going the same.
My mom using Iphne 8 since very long time ago and never updated a thing and phone still working somehow.
Have a friend who is taxudriver and needs just a working taxi app rest he never cared much about.
And tons of countles of other examples.
