They seem to be very confident with their cooling system to get rid of the physical cooler fan. I love the design, now it looks like something I'd use daily instead of a weird colored brick. For me I don't care about the punch hole, but if they get rid of it for the next version and keeping the design and I'd be more than happy.

As owner of ROG Phone 7 (12/256), this new design... Why? Just why?
Now it's another bland phone. With hole in the screen and unbalanced back camera block.

i love this design and in my opinion rogphone is better than redmagic rogphone has a better software and better camera this is a first gaming mobile with an IP68 WATER RESISTANT

Option 1: 512gb internal storage and micro sd card support
Option 2: sell my kidney and get the 1tb model

Absolutely Handsome phone. Can hardly wait to test one out because this has the power of an old high end desktop p.c plus more like the HD cameras and its design, is stunning. I'm looking to buy the rog phone 8 pro 24gb unlocked version. It will be my next computerized system I will work with.

                Thank you, Asus!

Romeo, 05 Jan 2024Battery is pathetic.cant even last for half day of full useYep, another extremely power hungry and overheating SoC from Snapdragon. Gen 2 was the only exception in the flagship segment.

Danish07, 25 Dec 2023well this can beat the upcoming s24 in raw performance S24 is NOT a gaming phone, it's just a regular phone.
Asus RoG main competitor is ZTE REDMAGIC and the extinct BlackShark from Xiaomi.
You can't compare muscle cars with 4 doors sedans 😂

It's great that it has a headphone jack, I'd love it if it also had a decent camera. Still looking for an improvement over A52s. But I guess I'll just buy a new ILC (my A6000 is not doing too well).

The only thing that bothers me about this design choice is removing the cooling flap thingy at the back of the phone, ain't that supposed to help with overall thermal stability? so they sacrificed a bit of gaming performance just to appeal to more people- well damn it just looks like any other phone now lol
