AnonD-1147675, 14 Mar 2024Cmon people, this phone is SO much better than S24+ and eve... moreI agree. Sadly didn't know about this phone before buying the s24+ and also don't have a local service provider offer for it :(. I really miss the 3.5mm jack why was it ever removed

+Very impressive battery and display brightness numbers from Asus. Thats probably because the screen is 1080p and not 1440p.
+Good early bird price for a flagship. Thats actually cheaper than base S24 at 899 for 12/256.
        +3.5mm jack
        +clean UI with no bloatware
        +good charging speed
        +ip68

-not a fan of the (camera) design in general
-no charger in the box. Why Asus???
        -bad sustained performance
-only 2major OS updates. This is one of the biggest dealbreakers for me. Come on Asus, even mid range devices or Xiaomi/Poco offer more.
-camera performance isnt that great flagship wise

Not bad overall, but not that great for an ''Ultra'' device either

No memory slot, and no flip camera, with a punched screen instead. At least it still got aptX. Well, I am gonna stay on my Zenfone 7 Pro for one more year again.

And can they finally do eSIM?

Flip camera was amazing, but no memory slot is a killer. I don't care if it has 500GB when my SD card got 2TB.

LynxBloxxed, 14 Mar 2024Where has the smallness gone?! Anyway, still a good phone. The smallness is in the Zenfone 11, not the Zenfone 11 Ultra. Please wait for just a while.

It's official now, awesome, big phone, what are you bringing into the "ultra"s tables? The specs are the same if not worse than other "ultra" phones, why should someone choose this over the others now? And 2 years of software update... lmao
release the "normal"/compact ZF11 now, to see if it actually worth looking into.

                    Where has the smallness gone?!
                    Anyway, still a good phone.

AnonD-1147675, 14 Mar 2024Cmon people, this phone is SO much better than S24+ and eve... moreDon't make me wrong it's a decent phone for it's money, but Samsung it's slightly better in my opinion.much better updates, better camera,s pen, software is smoother.

This device should have had a 6" screen with the same screen resolution. Also, only 50 MP camera?

Hmm. It seems it was a bit too much for Asus to upgrade the damn selfie camera to support 4K resolution as every other "ultra" phone.

is there no normal zenfone 11 this year?

While it's refreshing to see headphone jack, LTPO and telephoto all in one single phone, cannot buy this due to:

                              1. Non unlockable bootloader
                              2. No microSD slot despite increased size
                              3. Lack of reliability and poor service. Zenfone 9 has poor microphone during phonecalls and Asus didn't fix it. Don't know if that exact problem exists in ZenFone 10 and 11. But this shows Asus phones lack the reliability expected from such expensive price. There are also bugs here and there in Zen UI which Asus doesn't fix.

Sony phones on the other hand is much more reliable. Yes they don't have LTPO and the 5v lacks telephoto but whatever the phones have work without any issue. Xperia 5ii is overall very reliable phone and there's no bug even though UI is a bit limited. Same for XZ1. Those phones can be used even today as daily driver had it not been for worn out batteries. This gives confidence that other Sony phones would be like those. Not to mention the microSD slot.

                                No Micro SD Card Slot

Wrong. It has the BEST UI out there: stock Android! And with the awesome notification shade toggle-able on/off. I switched from a Galaxy (an old one though) to a Zenfone 9, and I love the UI.
