I would love to see this phone in India for a reasonable price,say 9-12k during the first quarter of the release and if it cant hold-up with the competition, for a lower price. For long now these guys are marauding with outdated chipsets in India, there should be relief.

zenfone2 550ml $5999 taiwan dollars...around p8500 pesos . additional tax and greediness 2000 = p 10000 :)... well hurry up at lazada 11000,,promo for today less , 1500... so i got the unit for 9500 php only:) $213 u.s :) hurry up:)

ANONY1, 31 Mar 2015 when azp2 be released in the philippines???//per yugatech, philippine official release is around May 10.
i got a unit from Taiwan, and the official price there is NT$ 5999 (5.5"/720p/2gb/16gb), but some shops sell it for NT$6500 to 6999. and it was in their digital market. but i managed to get 1 at official price, and no one wants to give a discount.

Hi Dipsi, just a comment on your comment: zenfone 5 does not have intel processor. You mean zenfone 5 lite? That phone has an intel processor, a 4 year old processor. New processors from intel are way better and what is most important, cheaper then competition. You should try them :) I have one and I'm impressed.

ASUS SAY THAT ZENFONE 2 STARTING PRICE WILL BE 200 DOLLARSand that is true.This is offical prices in Europe,Asus webshop France and Italy:1.ZE500CL 5inch 720x1280 quad core 1.6 ghz,2gb ram,16gb-199 euro.
2.ZE550ML 5.5inch full HD,quad core 1.8ghz,2gb ram,16gb -249 euro.
3.ZE551ML 5.5inch ,full HD,quad core 2.3ghz,4gb ram,32 gb-299 euro.
Dollar and euro are near same value,so difference is converitible value is around 10 dollars/euro.So the prices are good.Storage space of 16 and 32 are enaugh because there is SD card,example direct rivals of Zenfone, Xiaomi and Oneplus one dont have SD card slot.
BORDI 21.Starting price is right.What utalking about?What u espected?Best version ze551ml for only 200???Then maybe u expected version ze500cl for 100 or for free?Start use brain before comment.
