Abutups, 13 Oct 2015Can you explain it deeper???This variant phone has physically 4GB (ram). This memory is used to the system and the applications. Android keeps 1.5GB for itself. The rest will be used by the applications. This is not a bug or a mistake.
The only way to get "more" free ram is to install another Android's fork, like Cyanogen for example. It deactivate or optimized some system applications.

my zenfone selfie is perfect when i first used it ,, but after automatic update software it happened the cam is not working good anymore even i factory setting done ..still no good
pls guys dont update software u will regret

i have been using the zenfone 2 for a week now and so far its an excellent phone the only downside to it is that i wished it had better battery life the battery last for a day from light to moderate usage as for network i am using 2 sim cards and so far no problem with the connection for all those who are claiming on having network issues im not seeing that at all the reception is excellent on that phone for both sim cards it even has better reception than my old galaxy s4

I just brought zenfone 2 64gb a week ago, and quite disappointed in this phone, my SIM card slot 1 got problem and can't detect any of my SIM card, and SIM card slot 2 only support 2G, which only can make calls, it became smart phone that not "smart"......
I think this is not the 1st time users complaint about the SIM card slot problem...

hi zenfone 2 users!
i have problem with asus sharelink, when i want to select only one file, with a single click it selects ALL the files from the folder. its pretty annoying. i know there are other programs too, but i really like(d) this one. after a factory reset it worked well again, but when im fully customizing my zenfone (installing the neccessary apps, etc..) sharelink just going crazy again, and doing this...
any ideas? solutions? clrearing app data, reinstalling the app doesn't helps.

The phone has some good points but it has many bad points. The first is using outdated and subpar hardware. 2G only and data is blocked by firmware on sim 2. 2G is being phased out and is already being shut down in areas. So they tout this phone as a dual sim but it is really only a single sim for some already. When I mentioned this to Asus I was told by their rep that it works in areas that hasn't been shut down already. He also said their "Flagship" phone is " Premium Like". LOL, so they created a knock off and are charging a premium price for it but with outdated hardware. The bloatware on this phone is ridiculous and you will spend at least an hour or more disabling and uninstalling what you can. You will see some battery improvement after but since they haven't updated Lollipop don't expect much. They do push out updates, which is nice. However the caveat is with every update they push out they seem to break something and therefore need another update to fix the last update. Lots of complaints about being able to connect and use 4G/LTE. Though I don't seem to have a problem connecting in my area. Save your money and look around, plenty of phones out there at this price point offering up to date hardware with less problems. Asus should either get their act together or just stick with making motherboards.

Yes I am a fan of this zenfone 2, Purchased the 1.8mh intel with a 4 GB RAM. No issues as of yet. this phone flies. very smooth operation. I switched from a Samsung Galaxy 3.

i like my Zenfone Selfie 3GB 32gb is very fast and battery is very good.. like my Zenfone 2 551ML 4GB 64gb.. now i'm waiting my last order Zenfone 2 551ML Deluxe 256gb.. all these three devices works well as support for my iPhone 6 Plus (128) and 6S Plus (128).. Asus top for me (not as ShitSung..)

I use this phone and from the first day I bought it , it always off when it's 30% . Now it's off on 70% !it's really pissed me off

hi zenfone 2 users!
i really like the app ASUS Sharelink, but lately, i cant use it, because with a single file selection it selects all the files in the folder where i am. already cleared data, reinstalled app, but no changes.
i did even a factory reset, after that Sharelink worked for 1-2 days, but after i reinstalling all of my apps i want to, Sharelink starts the same issue again. any ideas?
