Hi... I am Ranjeet Saini
I am using zenfone 2 ZE 551 ML since May'15.
This is the worst phone i have ever bought. there are various problem with it. Some of them as too much heating during battery charging and calling, call hang or blank display, Hang and black display, Battery reverse drain to charger if left connected with no power source, Too much hanging problem when 3 G data network using..
Too much frustrated., Suggesting not to buy this.
Plz suggest me for better one at ranjeet_sni@yahoo.com

SBR, 24 Aug 2015Hi Guys, My phone is ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML(4Gb/2.3Ghz/32Gb... moreHi SBR, I have also downloaded and installed the same update that you have, but I am not facing any battery issues (Zenfone 2 4GB 2.3 GHz). Actually, battery is lasting longer in my case. What I have done is - 1.) use the in-built Auto Start Manager and deny ALL (I mean ALL) apps from the start-up. 2.) You can also hit the "menu" button on the right of the capacitive "Home" button, and delete all unnecessary apps that are there. 3.) I have also uninstalled all unnecessary apps by going to Settings->Apps. 4.) I have installed "No Root Firewall" app to block internet access to certain apps. This makes sure that battery power is not wasted on unnecessary wireless activity. 5.) Now restart your phone, and watch it run like a rocket!

Maybe you have to change your SIM card, depending on your network provider.
For me, I can use 4G from day 1 (my old phone was just 3G).

Hi Guys, My phone is ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML(4Gb/2.3Ghz/32Gb ROM), i have used it for 2 months so far so good, fast performance no lag, battery also acceptable, i really like it compare to my other current device Samsung Salaxy Note 3, but from last week I downloaded and applied the update released as ZE551ML_ WW_V2.20.40.59 now facing the battery draining issue, even in standby mode just few calls, no any connections (wifi, data, bluetooth,...) from morning till evening the battery remain around 50% from full charges, unlike the old version if i do like this the battery drop only few percents,
Can any want help? how to solve it or have to wait for further update from ASUS?
Hey ASUS, what happen here? why upgrade with worthless things?

Awesome phone for the price range, everything works well with the latest updates. The o ly problem i had was that there is no sim toolkit for the second simcard. And that too, the fonts size were too big for me as i already used xperia z ultra, which act as a substitution for my laptop. A little more optimization to the display may be added.
