Hello, New ZF2 ZE551ML 2GB RAM / 32GB Internal user here. Just got this phone on May 27th. Kinda weird coz I gotta a headset and the quick charger (2A output) for my phone. Is it the quick charger only for the 4GB RAM model? Oh and how to remove the bloatware? Thanks.

I charged it to full capa... moreI think you have an issue with your provider - because i can assure you 100% there is no recorded message on the Zen UI software - so its not a problem with the phone its an issue with your service provider !

Spanish Fan, 01 Jun 2015ALL Zenfones are unlocked as they are never tied to a telec... moreI just bought the phone, ZE551ML. I charged it to full capacity. I then get a talk back voice message saying welcome, time, etc and the circular menu.
My provider has confirmed that they reset my acct. So my acct is fine.
None of the buttons work at the lower end of the screen.
I scratch a "C" and it brings me back to the voice page i started out with.
I can't get the screen that allows me to do settings etc.

I wonder about 95% of the posts on here because a lot of them seem like fantasy posts ?
If you have a ZF2 and have something constructive to say then please share it - if you are considering buying it then please do a bit of your own research first as there are loads of reviews on you tube etc - if you do not find the answer then fire away - at the moment it seems to be stuffed with rumour and nonsense on here and not a lot of facts :-(

I think my phone is defective. How do get the phone unlocked? I can't get past the welcome screen. The buttons on the bottom do nothing. All i hear is a woman saying "welcome", "time, etc.
Is my phone defective?

Nonoy, 01 Jun 2015I believe the 13mp camera on the Honor 4x has better camera... moreYeah ok - i think you are away with the fairies - sorry but the honor 4x is a sh*te phone in comparison and the price reflects it . ZF2 just needs a few software tweaks and it will be mind blowing - do not judge a book by its first 3 pages as there is a lot more to come !

[deleted post]IDK. I don't have this phone or read a comparison between them. As I said, the Zenfone 2 is not bad (for me) in photo, but, naturally, it's not comparable with a DSLR.
I tried the "nocturne" mode (3 Mpx) & the "ultra resolution" (52 Mpx). Both are acceptable but I don't think really to use them.
However, when I bought my Zenfone 2, the camera was not a priority item. Just a "bonus". Samsung, Sony, or Apple's phone are better but more expensive.

zenfone 2 photos looks artificial saturated and its very noisy there are missing details
the battery resutls is bad for a big 3000mah
i have seen atleast 3 of my friends using honor 4x and we compared it to my zenfone 2 [4gb ram variant] and i was socked as my phone look very shamed in the front of honor 4x.
i just managed 4hours and 42 minutes playing an intensive game Asphalt8 but their phones honor 4x still alive with 14% and they achieved 5:hours 47 minutes
so i felt shamed in front of my 3 friend owning Honor 4x.

Philippines, 01 Jun 2015Also worth to mention the 13mp and the 1080p video camera o... moreI have i think i have a completely different phone to your shop ? its not good at the moment with night shots with the flash but apart from that the HDR mode is incredible and ASUS are working on the other camera improvements as its not a hardware fault its just software so will be fixed soon . maybe you have a good deal with honor in your shop and are trying to make the Zenny 2 look bad ?

Don't expect a perfect camera for this price. The quality is good this range of price and category. Not excellent, and not enough to replace a true video camera...

Spanish Fan, 01 Jun 2015maybe the zenny 2 for France was a enhanced version then be... moreAlso worth to mention the 13mp and the 1080p video camera on the zenfone2 ZE552ML the colors its produces is a kind of over saturated cartoonish the human skins look orange sometimes very yellowish.
The contrast is not good the shots look very artificial the master pixels is just brighten the shot but its a kind of un natural.
Try it for your self.
Record a video and upload on your PC and watch it.
Take some shot in a different colors and upload and see it for your self.

Philippines, 01 Jun 2015The screen Full HD 1080p on ZE551ML is a bit dimmer compare... moremaybe the zenny 2 for France was a enhanced version then because mine is fine - a few niggles yes but nothing major and ASUS seem to be on the ball with updates so it can only get better

if anyone find problem with camera actually it is due to pixelmaster app . just install google camera . camera will be superb . good details. just the oiginal camera app destroy the photos shot with it ,with unwanted beautification

The only 720p screen is the Model ZE550ML.
I know it my friend we have a Smart phone shop in a mall here in the Philippines.
