for me this is a stunning specs for a middle phone for an asus zenphone 2 for a Quad Core Atom 1.8 2GB Ram with a crisp display please give me a feedback if i update all the updates on asus software what would be happen for your experience please your comment is open to me to do updates on my phone.. Physical damage is not covered by warranty. no one wanted you to drop your phone but you cannot expect them to just replace it for no cost. then maybe try insuring your phone
the angle of the drop may vary per instance so dont blame the phone. blame yourself for dropping it

try changing it on network mode and set it to
WCDMA/GSM auto
that will do the trick to get better reception
and less drops out or even none

Major issue with Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML model, frequently calls getting disconnected while speaking. on 13th May i ordered for this phone and within few days it got delivered, I started using the phone next day and day one started facing issue like calls getting disconnected and home key touch sensitivities issue. Immediately i complained to Flipkart and after lot of arguments the replaced the phone on 1st June, with new phone also same issue. I strongly feel some major issue with network connectivity or might be some other issue for call drop. Asus Zenfone need to check this on top priority. Spec is quite appealing in this price range however you should consider the durability before you decide to buy zenfone 2, I have experience in using zenfone 5, eventhough they claimed corning gorila glass for he screen material.
They are only scracth resistant. Mine was accidantlyy drop from a table about 50cm high the screen cracked, you still can operate it, but the display clarity gone because of the cracked. And when you bring ot to the Asus service center still in warranty period, they will charge you for screen replacement very expensive, about half the cost the buy a new phone.., I have use other medium price brand such us moto G or lenovo, they dont easily cracked when accidantly dropped. The lenovo doesnt even had goreila corning.
But if you still want to buy zenfone 2, it will ok if you have extra precaution by applying screen protector with tempered glass material, that you can easily find in the market

As of now, my observation is as below, the only service which consumes more battery is "Mobile Data".
If you use WiFi and then use whatsapp, facebook etc the battery consumption is not that bad. Currently, the battery lasts 2 days. Please note that I haven't played any games yet!
I use my phone with WiFi & Bluetooth on. Constant Whatsapp use. Facebook usage as well. I make or get around 30-40 (roughly) calls a day.
All in all, I am happy with the phone except the speaker and to some extent the camera as well.

I guess we all have to wait for the next update than we can give our opinion on zenfone 2. The current version have some issues that they are fixing now.

Nonoy, 01 Jun 2015I believe the 13mp camera on the Honor 4x has better camera... morethats ok because you have 4 gb models..its given your is more more powerful thats why its a power hungry phones....honor only has 2 gb...its regular phone...:) wanna switch phones"? :)

Philippines, 01 Jun 2015The screen Full HD 1080p on ZE551ML is a bit dimmer compare... morefirstly i am too from the philippines..i was one of the few who got the first zenfone 2 back in april 2015... my unit is 550 ml zenfone 2...im in iloilo i ordered online...ww version.(hongkong) for 9000 pesos..now all philippines asus zenfones has ww version as well.....i dont know why your 551 ml has dim screen...i only got the 720 p version ..6 to 7hours heavy usage. or 2 days normal usage... i can say my screen is extremely bright when i set to full brightness...so thats why i dont use auto brightness...my settings since from the start zero brightness..0 on setting but to tell you honestly my screens not to dark and can clearly see anything on my screen....i havent regret yet because i know asus has a good system updates...i cant talk about honor since i dont have that...does honor updates too? cause ive heard there not too active in terms of updates...you only get whats its given to you no updates whats so ever...pls correect me if im wrong...i dont know why so much problem appearing here...i guess the CN, IND version sucks...i dont get over heating...my temp stays below 42 as always...the only confern of mine the screen becuase it has poor refresh rate...and tend to be annoying when using on viber calls...other than that i have no problem...if you guys have the 4 gb sell it cheap i might buy it :)

vinith, 01 Jun 2015hi frnd, can you please tel me about the camera quality of ... moreHey Vinith, Camera quality is not that as good as compared to any 13MP camera ( like oneplus one is much better then this ), but overall it is descent, it has so many good modes so you can capture pics however you want; and I am telling you the night mode is really awesome. Actually I hardly listen songs on phone speaker but as per my experience, sound is loud ( not like chinese mobiles ) and clear. Overall I am very satisfied with this mobile and I am using it since last 20 days and I haven't face any problem regarding this device.

I hav honor 6 and there is no right left camera correction for the front camera there..I keep on getting mirrored images...is there similar problem wth asus zenfone??? And whch has a better camera???
