In a period of 6 months this device have been 3 times in rapier and its still there.
First the mic went wrong.
Next device was rebooting in random simple tasks and whenever i was unplagging the phone off the charger
Third the battery % started to messing around.
I dont recommend wasting time on this device at all..
Camera is very slow and updates screwing your phone like one disabled the phones auto rotation.
The cheap cost pricely, Pure money lost.. now im typing from a galaxy s7 edge (VERY HAPPY ...)

Hey I just updated to android 6.0.1, everything is running smoothly. I factory reset my phone after the update and install everything from the beginning.
I'm now having problem with chrome, it can't load any sites. Can anybody please help or anyone having the same issue?

How to take backup?? In release notes they say to take backup and are also saying asus backup will be removed. What to do?

Matt, 02 Sep 2016How to upgrade to Marshmallow?i downloaded last official lollipop zip file from asus website then placed it to phone memory root directory. automatically a pop up will open up and you can start update from the phone.
after that i downloaded the official marshmallow zip file from asus , then updated from phone via the same process.

About Marshmallow update
you should update to the last official lollipop Android 1st, then try marshmallow update. other wise you may get errors.
i flashed the ROMs, now in Android marshmallow. works fine. no sensor problem or other issue.
i heard some are facing sensor problem with marshmallow update. i think Asus will solve it with quick patch.

I can buy this phone today here ... moreI have a zen2 here 2gb. It has been working good for the past year and a half. I did receive updates as well several times.
One issue that i did encounter is sometimes it hangs or restarts buy this is probably due to intense gaming. I have been playing online games like clash of kings f9r several hours a day continously and had the drive space of the phone almost maxed out. So i guess this is one of the reason..
It's a good phone. I even dropped this countless times in the bathroom floor and in my room, highest being 2 meters in height. Not a problem.
The only downside i have found is in terms of memory usage. No matter how many times i try to free up memory, clean apps it really only goes down as low as 950mb ram usage.. its half of 1.8gb ram.. but overall very good for 5he price range.

I Have had a Zen 2 phone for almost a year. and had no problems at all that has not fixed itself in a restart. Camera is great, Speed very fair, comfort in hand great, Glass not even a scratch without cover since new. Price was $200. that"s 1/3 the cost of comparable phones. The Intel Chip seems to work very stable. Sorry to see it go so soon and not improve.
