received this phone from flipkart an hour ago and guess what.?
This damn phone is not even turning on.
Kept for charge for an hour and still not getting on.
Anyone has anything to say about this which might help then please tell me.

poor quality touchscreen.. it behaves on its own. Ghost touches. Didn't expected anything lyk this from Asus :(

WHAT i have to do... moreI wonder how you guys use your phone? I have been using Asus 5 and 2 years now and it never went dead. Though battery has degraded still it turns on so you guys are just wreckless
users and any phone you use would die.

AnonD-569622, 07 Aug 2016I scored around 64000 on antutu with this phone ;)But it generates alot of heat and battery drains faster than ARM chips which are specifically made/started for mobile devices.
And as of now Intel SoC has been dropped and are no longer in production.

I Don't know about other phones which are coming in the market but alot of people are unknown but the fact that this phone comes with Intel Atom Z3580 which is indeed the fastest chipset if talking about price range ... Phones nowadays are coming with high end specs except the processor..
If you open ANTUTU (1st official and popular benchmark test website in the world) you will see the chipset performance in 2015 q3
there are phones which have snapdragon 805,810,808 these are the chipset which comes in note 4 , note 5 , S6 , sony x 2016, Lg G5 ....
these are the phone which scores around 60,000-80,000 scores and comes at 7th position... phones coming with snapdragon 615,617,800,801 etc are coming at 22nd position... people are just buying phones for RAM AND CAMERAS
They think snapdragon 615,617,901,808.805
phones like Motorola G4, Motorola G4 plus, Xiomi note 3, Lenovo k5, Samsung S5, samsung S4 , Samsung A,O,J,E,S series are faster ...
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING
"THEY ARE NOT"
They may look good , they may have good camera, they may have 4 GB ram, but they are slow as hell they scores around 30,000-40,00
THE ONLY PHONE WHICH ARE FASTER THAN THESE PHONES IN MID RANGE IS ASUS ZENFONE 2 (4 GB RAM) AS IT COMES WITH Z3580 THAT SCORES AROUND 58.320... AND YOU CAN CHECK THE ANTUTU SO
MORAL OF THE STORY
DON'T BUY PHONES WITH JUST RAM AND CAMERA AND PROCESSOR (PEOPLE WHO JUST BUY PHONE BY HEARING OCTA CORE PROCESSOR).

It was a decent phone, but it died on me after 9 months. It won't turn on. It could be fixed by doing troublesome unscrewing or taking it to service centers. I'm never buying Asus again though.

I TOTALLY agree with Carlf! This is exactly what is happening to my ASUS phone starting few weeks ago. Its really frustrating and annoying! Im thinking to buy a new one instead.
Just to share, I had a friend who had the same phone and just last week hers just didn't want to open, so she had no choice but to buy a new one. Then she remind me to start to backup my files the soonest coz ASUS is NOT stable. Sorry to say!

asus zenfone's are good so far,,, i have a zenfone 2 ZE551ML and it works smoothly,,,, i have no issues about it.. and i have upgraded to marshmallow same thing it works well...

I like my Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) bought last year. At this time, it was the best model (price / specification / quality) and all reviews were very positive. I have no problem with my phone btw.
Currently there are a lot of better phones around 150-250$ like Honor 5X or Motorola G4 Plus. Nobody who is a little bit serious will recommend to buy this phone now - and it's perfectly normal.

Battery drain on asus zenfone 2 ZE551ML is caused by google play services.
Uninstall your version and download 9.0.83. version from http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/

bought this jst 4months ago.i thought it was agreat phone the specs got me wowd.,then noticed aftr this past months battery drains fast somtimes shutsdown by itself .right now i cant even use its touchscreen.i am very regretful buying this phone!!
