As they always say.. You get what paid for. Bought this unit ZE550ML months ago, specs and its low price were very attrachtive. You're lucky if you don't encounter zenfone 2 issues.
First problem of thi model: Suddenly shutsdown and stucked at black screen with USB logo. I went to the service centre and waited for 5 days for them to replace the motherboard.
Second problem 2 months after the first issue. Screen navigates by itself, lots of lags because of memory leakage. Updates and factory reset doesn't help. So I have it sent to the service centre again. now just waiting for it to be repaired.

over all storage memory is 32gb but how much available for applications.

terrible device. Always having problems. Memory management is very bad so 2G is never enough even if one doesn't install much apps. The device comes with a lot of bloatware which takes a lot of space and cannot be uninstalled and that's why there is not enough memory. The device becomes very slow and needs even freezes and needs to be restarted in order to get it to respond. The camera is bad. It's a very slow camera and the only way to get a fast reaction is by turning off the automatic focus. The video camera is flickering when taking a video in a room lighting. Sometimes the upper part of the screen flickers too for no apparent reason. I would not recommend this device to anyone. Even if the price is very low, it still doean't worth the price. I'm sorry I ever bought it.

For WI-Fi - Make sure the signal bars are full, do not download anything else on the same network, check if the device is closer to the router
For Mobile Network - Make sure the signal bars are full, switch between 2G/3G from mobile network settings, check with the network provider if there is some known issues
Update your device to the latest firmware version

i bought this fone 2 days ago.download speed in playstore is very slow even with 3g.

Don't worry about the issues on this phone, because i read an article that the company of this phone is planning to upgrade it to android m and hopefully it will fix all the issues we are encountering with its present software.

from morning (01.dec.2015) start turning of and turning on every 5 minutes... till now restarted almost 100 times... i get out SIM card and memory card... restarting continues... (last night have 2-3 updates on ASUS apps) please help!!! its not aviable with usb cable to get my data in PC - to do factory resset i lost everything :-(

I just bought this phone recently and after 2 weeks my phone screen starting to touch itself. (screen moving on its own) And the phone can get heated up easily. I don't know if any other people have this problem or not. But I do have it.

Make the SIM is not a cut SIM
check with your service provider
try alternative SIM & also try updating your device

Please tell me their is any speaker problem in Asus zenfone 4gb ram n 32gb rom. Every saying that their is speaker issue after somedays the speaker will be of no use...please say still speaker problem is their in this mobile 😊

Awesome phone. Great specifications.
Amazing hardware! A true beast.
Huge battery that charges rapidly.
Only con is it's full of bloatware, but I've uninstalled/disabled almost all of it. Pity ASUS is trying to reinvent the wheel instead of embracing an existing OS like Paranoid or the like.
Anyway, I don't regret for a moment I got this phone. Great value for much higher than its actual price! Highly recommended.
