I bought it yesterday.. seems okay to me except the battery drains way to faster then it should be.. and one thing, my one has Intel mrf 3560 and CPU 1.8GHz.it also has 4gb ram..l don't get it why gsm showing only ze551ml 2gb has those specs.

What I have is Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML with 16gb ROM and 4gb RAM.
Problems found are as follows.
1. Slow charging. (Fast battery charging: 60% in 40 min is not true in my case. It will surely takes 3 hours to full my battery from 5%)
2. Heating issue. (Special when cellular data is on, but not on wi-fi usage.)
3. Gaming issue. (This one is unconditional. Sometimes laggy, sometimes good or should I say this one is better than the other. Of course you can't play two or more games at a time, but you can do it just to test its game accuracy.)
I think that's all, those are the issues that I always experience. But above them all, this is still better than the other. Camera quality such as video recording, even selfies, voice recording, calls, texting, music player, themes, screen quality (brightness and contrast are average) and many more, those are good in this type of phone. I bought mine last June here in Philippines, until now my phone is good as a brand new. You must take care of what you have and be contented. :)

So many people complaining about this phone...I can't believe it. Mine is working flawlessly.
On screen time is 4-5 hours, most of it from gaming and the rest of it from browsing on Google Chrome or just using apps. I find that a decent on screen time, given that it's a 5.5 inch device and that I also have all the additional stuff activated (Flip Cover, Gestures,Motion, etc.). Plus, it comes with a fast charger so you can charge it back to 100% in like 1 hour and 30 minutes. Performance on normal mode is good, if you're on Performance Mode, it's perfect. The interface doesn't lag (using stock interface), the applications open fast and multitasking is a breeze (I tested the multitasking when I bought it, I usually don't leave my apps open, I use one at a time, maybe 2 or 3, for example when I need Google Chrome to find stuff). The 4GB of RAM does help a lot. Yeah, the system eats like 1/3 of it, but i think the interface wouldn't be as smooth if it was squeezed in less RAM. Call quality is good and camera quality is good as well for a normal user (we won't be using it to win photography contests,right?) The quality is a good one for regular pictures during day-time. Didn't try taking pictures during the night so I can't talk about it.
Gaming performance could be better, given what it packs inside, but it's still better than the performance on your average phone. It's just that some games aren't optimized for Intel processors. On the other hand, heavy games like GTA San Andreas, Asphalt 8, Modern Combat, Nova 3, Dungeon Hunter 5 have no problems running on it.

I bought my asus zenfone 2 last week. Yeah, it's really last week. At first, when i'm charging this phone, i thought it's not need too much time. But, actually 3 hours for full. So, i asked my friend who have this phone too, and she said that this phone is like that.
i'm still ok with that. But today, when i'm charging it again, it's already more than 5 hours. And it still 57%. I suprised with that. And when i check the time that i must need is 4 hours!:( what should i do? Please help me.
Btw sorry for my bad english, i'm not too good in english

I brought dis phone and the only issue i found is heating but overall performance its ok better multitasking than s5 or note 4

The phone's hardware isn't the issue, Stock ROM is terrible.. flash it with CM12.. and it works like it should be.

Do not buy ASUS ZenFone2, many many problem, lot and lot of problem, keep going down to the service centre, many intermittent problem cannot be solved, if you buy , I am 100% confident you will regret. . . You have be warn. . .

4gb ram ...hahahaha ,phone performance is like 1 gb ram phone ,Samsung s duos is much better than this phone, so many issue,s are in this phone .my phone is only 2 day,s old and its restarting 10 times in 2day,s.

I want to purchase this phone model ZE551ML, 2.3GHz,4GB RAM but I am not sure how to confirm the RAM (2GB or 4GB) as there is no information on box.

I buy Zenfone 2 (4GB RAM & 32 GB ROM). After one month i found that its working working properly. Camera issue i faced. After replacement another same phone i got, same problem this one. And one more replacement new same phone i got , but another many problem with same phone. So friends please don't waste your money for buy this. Its so poor product.

There is no separate datadata partition. Application data included in the userdata partition (so ~13GB user available storage for the 16GB model, et cetera).
