For the ones who have the whiteline and screen flickering issues, have you tried the hw overlays disabling in the developer options menu? Asus had similar problems with zenfone 2, this is how they fixed the issue then.
Here are the intructions;
Hello!
Go to settings > About device.
Find "Build number" and click 6 times fast on it.
You will then get the message saying: "You are now a developer"
Come back to Home Screen, and then go back to Settings >Now you will see the "Developer Options"
Now go to Developer options >>Hardware accelerated Rendering Section >> Find "Turn off hardware overlays" or "disable hardware overlays" >> This will force the phone to always use GPU for screen compositingThis happens after a new update as phone can't decide between CPU and GPU for drawing on screen.

I think the unlimited replacement isn't true. based from what that annoying seller told me they can only replace the unit until 1 month. they can only provide fixes after that. Wew, I am still not confident with my 3rd replaced phone, well hopefully the white line issue won't occur right now :(

Asus should immediately have a recall since it happened also from other countries. Got this unit to replace my asus selfie phone last April 28, 2017....(SM Bacolod, Philippines)....

Hi Asus, got my asus zenfone 3 zoom last April 28, 2017 from Asus Concept Store, SM City Bacolod. Just a while ago while watching you tube video (6:00pm), the white line appeared in the bottom portion of the screen.....I might be the latest user to experienced this problem. I think ASUS should now have a solution or a recall worldwide as this also happened in some other countries....sad...sad....sad. I bought this unit to replace my asus selfie...

If there's a memo from Asus then does it mean I can have my phone replace again? It will be my 2nd time.. If this will continue, can they just refund my purchase.. It's such a hassle having to do all the back up again and again.. Such a disappointment!

After 1 month of using the ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom, the white line appears! I notice this when I am playing MLBB. White line flashing at the bottom of the screen and stops. So now my phone have white line at the bottom of my screen already. Its not really a big issue but i am afraid it expands or grow. Is it a dead pixel? How serious this problem?

Buy Zenfone 3 instead. Useless phone....It was so promissing then....They should have gone with a better processor and Nougat of the box.....

but still an awesome phone no regrets when i bought it.
Be Updated, have some time to visit Asus Stores near you and have a chat with them
about that fix.
But if you already bought it, and the white line issue appear Asus is open to replace your
zenfone
3 days of ownership still nothing appearing and hoping for the best.

But right after we removed the jellycase, we've noticed that the volume key side of the phone somehow opened(the metal part). Its really disturbing, I didn't even dropped it. I still don't know how it happened, I just noticed it after they removed the case. I haven't removed it since the replacement. Hay GG
