They started right with the Asus Zenfone 5 and 6, they made nice devices with great price tags then after 3 yrs they're going a different path? As in more expensive than Sony, Samsung, LG, HTC or Huawei? Asus does not have a big name yet when it comes to mobile devices, they're just starting! They should price this at around 32k. It's not even a QHD phone. The only top feature that it has is the Snapdragon 835.

i heard this phone zenfone 4 cost around 40k to 50k here in the philippines, i know it has good specs but would you rather decrease the price (reasonable price) so that it will be price friendly for us filipinos.

i love this phone. it functional as a phone must & blazing fast, not selling gimmicks like edge screen or super slow motion cam. good at performance, camera, sound & battery life. superb phone

Damn i wanted to love this phone, but why don't they keep the 5000mah battery from the zenfone 3 zoom? Why do i always have to choose between battery life or flagship specs? It annoys me a lot

Damn, the first time ASUS have created a real monster. But how does it stack up to current flagship competitors? A advantage for them is the FM RADIO, which I have never seen on a flagship for a long time now, but the disadvantage is the lack of IP rating for dust and water resistance. But pricing is to be noted for. 599USD is pretty competitive regarding the specs. Really hope they really step up the game in the camera too

its good phone ...Monster mid range chip SD 630 ...10% faster from previous 625.Bluetooth 5, Quick charge 4 which is 15 min 50% charge...and if u want parformence based phone then this is good choice for u...if u loved to take pic then go with moto g5 plus or uocomming moto X4 ...or flagship phones ...all mid range phone have some good and bad side ...u have to choice wt u want

I must congratulate Asus for coming up with this phone. It isn't perfect but it has three (3) unique selling points other flagship snapdragon 835 phones from Oneplus, LG, Pixel and Samsung DO NOT HAVE.
1. It is the only snapdragon 835 phone with IR blaster (very rare)!
2. It is the only snapdragon 835 phone with FM radio (very rare)!
3. It is the only snapdragon 835 phone with a sizable 3600mAh battery (rare)! This is the second largest battery among snapdragon 835 phones announced so far (next to the S8 active's 4000mAh). Coupled with a modest 1080p display, it should be the LONGEST LASTING snapdragon 835 phone in existence and will probably score very high if not the highest in benchmark tests. This is in addition to the usual, very common flagship features: dual cameras, sd card, dual sim, 4k video, OIS, 3.5mm jack, USB C.
Hopefully it also comes with slimport support. I just wish though a variant of the Zenfone 4 PRO is released with bigger (5000mAh+) battery and bigger (6.0"+) screen in the same 16:9 aspect ratio with no curved glass edges like in the S8+.

I saw in one video on youtube that Zenfone 4 pro has an FM radio (2nd notofication screen) what is great. Ordinary Zenfone 4 either.
