Facebook and Messenger is repeatedly crashes in my zenfone 5 from last 4 months and now from 2 days when i try to open last pic thru camera, camera crashes

I suddenly experienced very bad internet reception when I turn on the mobile data. My zenfone 5 is now a little over 1 year old, and this reception problem has had happened since October last year. Although it would display H+ on the status bar, it would take a while before loading websites and downloading files. I did not change anything in my phone, but this problem had been occurring everywhere I went, not just in my place. Do I have similar cases in you? How should I solve this?

Shaan, 17 Mar 2016it is not 4G competable ?There are different Zenfone 5 models, one is 4G also reviewed on this site.

its battery back up is not so good. Parts are very expensive & they are rare to find. i was totally frustrated due to this phone...

Upgradable to Lolipop, they say it as if it is as easy to upgrade this phone to Lolipop as eating a pie.
Just how careless Asus can be, they made the ROM, put it up on their site but they didn't care to release it OTA. Speak of absolute carelessness Asus should get a Oscar for it. The quality of Asus phones are undeniably good but such carelessness of Asus surely pisses off its loyal customers. Good job Asus because you essentially shot yourself in foot due to this oddball method of rolling update.

and download the update and update it manually.

Worse phone. after 6 months, display will start giving you problems. Worse battery life phone I have ever had. Definitely not worth the price. You can go with some branded phones instead, which atleast have support centres to go approach for your problems.

i have this cellphone since October 2014,, i does hangs a lot after more than a year of use, battery life is too short i usually charge 2-3 times a day (full),, my app killer always close my fb app and do so to other applications.. with all of this problems it is still usable and still satisfies me except for the battery.

Very good quality, use it since December 2014, and now still work like it was new,
No Lag and problem on wifi or other connection.
But the battery capacity is too small for this great phone.
I know this phone is outclassed by zenfone 2, but I still love it

Zenfone 5 is very bad in quality. Here are the list of problems I am facing
1) After 6 months mic had problem( low voice hearing from other end...)
2) wifi gets hung when we try to access multple internet app.
3) Mobile Data enable will take hell lot of time to get the status bar and to get connected..
4) automatic call disconnection

iam nt satisfied....the phone is very bad....no user friendly...speaker prblm,often phone is getting hanged.......overall nt a gd phone to use

Very bad phone and company with limited service centre. No user friendly software update option.
Every software update is for good experience but in case of assus if you update software you will be in big trouble and i will recommend not to buy this phone until the main isses fixed.
