but can you please let me know if i can do... moreForgot to mention something - if the file name has no -user- in the name, then you need to unzip that file before copying it to the internal storage of the phone.
If there is user in the name, you should not unzip that file further.

I have purchased and got the handset from Flipkart on this monday, and overall my experience is good with handset, and my battery life is also good, it gives me around 1 day with fully charges and using around 10 to 12 calls and continues 6+ hours of Wifi ON, but screen ON is around 2 hours.
Whatsapp, Facebook, email, etc are my regular usage.
Still not updated to 4.4.2, using 4.3 J.B. only and did once root to remove some the pre-installed apps like Hangout, G+, Chorme Etc.
and now removed the root and now using without root.
Hope this help you to give some idea about handset.

really nice phone but the only problem is with the battery life ...it's not that good

How can you differenciate the Asus Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5 LTE at a glance? Or what should I check so I can be sure that I am buying the right phone without inserting a SIM Card. Thanks! :D

Since this phone has high-end specs, people tend to see this as a high end device with very good battery life..
They're forgetting that they're only buying a phone that is categorized as "MID-RANGE" due to its price..

Download from your computer, plug the phone to computer with USB cable. If it does not show up, open Settings, then Storage, and tap on the USB logo in top right corner. Make sure it's set to MTP, not Camera.
On Mac you would need to use Android File Transfer - google it, it's free app.
Now when you see phone in Computer/My Computer (or in Android File Transfer), click on it twice to open it, and you should see 1 or 2 drives in it - one is Internal Storage (or whatever it is translated to your language, if your phone is set to something other than English), and the other is SD Card, if you have one inserted.
Unzip the file downloaded, and place it in the root (main folder) of the Internal storage.
When it's completely copied, wait 10-15 seconds, then unplug the USB cable.
You should soon see a notification that a new update has been downloaded, and whether you want to install it.
Choose to install it.
When you're done, make sure to wipe cache partition and fully reset, then restore from backup your apps and settings.
You should obviously go to Settings, Backup/Restore first, and set in your GMail account, then tick the option to automatically backup your phone to Gmail.
This will allow you to restore all after wiping the phone, which you should do after update, to avoid issues.
If you're on JB now... without having updated to last JB version, then use 1.18.40.9 full update, then apply OTA to 1.18.40.10.
Then do full KitKat (which ever one of them) and when you're done, the full wipe and restore.

The files received via Bluetooth or Share link are transferred to the internal memory...
I have to cut paste them to the sd card...
How do i get the files transferred to the sd card directly??

500CG exist with 1.6 and 2.0 GHz CPU, with 1 and 2 GB RAM.
There you simply need to open the settings, and go to About, to see it.
If box is factory sealed, the same is written at the back of the box on the sticker.
