Had this fone for 3 days now, it's fine for its price range. But the battery is way too fast on draining. You have to charge it like every 8 hrs with its data connection open on stand by.

Pros: Precise Control on Your device, Install apps that need root
Cons: The root process if not done properly may brick your phone (the newer one for KitKat includes many steps), Any malware if accepted to give root right can screw your phone and data.
Ask yourself few questions before rooting,
1) Doesn't the current state of phone fulfill my requirement
2) Which Application I desperately want to use that needs root
3) Can I live without that app
If all you ans 3) as NO, then go ahead root :) but be careful after rooting.
