Don't buy this mobile..bcoz it's overheating.abt 45 degree Celsius it will reach 15min
Battery also drained very fast..if u r using continues just one and half hours battery get drained fully.

And if i do hard reset the sistem still be KK but what about luncher updates and browser and phonebook and every other update of the sistem?

Question-if i have the latest firware 2.19.40 via OTE and i am facing bugs can fix them dawnloading the same vesion from asus support and put it in my phone, and reboot,actualy is it going to hapen anyting?

AnonD-328458, 07 Nov 2014me and my bro both has zenfone 5 and my bro's zf5 is automa... morethe same problem you faced i also faced that problem......and i chat with asus online customer care ......they inform me that we stooped auto update of kitkat4.4.2 because of lot of bugs and errors in it if you want to update then go to asus.com>zenfone5>support>drivers and tools>firmware>afterdownload then unzip it and paste in internal storage and restart your phone then it will ask to update ......

friends anyone who are not able to update the phone to kitkat, i would suggest that the best method to update the phone is downloading the latest firmware from asus website itself and then installing it via sideload . this way you will also not have the bugs which some kikat users faced and also it is the best method
