Sta-ko, 07 Nov 2014Obviousley I am not only one who's phone heat's up brefly t... morefriend it is normal for this phone. this phone heats up while playing games, for me it heats so much that i cant even touch the screen , my fingers burns,, but it is what it is,, battery not gonna last more than half hour playing games , you have to use the charger while playing, i know it sucks but zenfone lacks big time in battery. mine and tomazz's sir batery last that much longer because we dont play games on this phone

AnonD-279813, 07 Nov 2014What on Earth are you doing with it? Mine lasts 2 days...how to do that? 2 days without internet connection and let it standby maybe it can. if you use internet connection all day long, how to save your battery from draining so fast? mine last only for 6-8 hours

Hi friends i have been using this phone for about a month. Battery backup is really gud with lots of phone calls, music, internet surfing and some gaming it lasts for about 17-18hrs for me. The display and UI is really wonderful. Sometimes mobile tends to show some bugs. For me there are only 2 bugs..which i do face weekly or in every 3-4 days. That might be taken care in next update from ASUS.
The bugs are--
1.sometimes the network is gone it does not come back normally so i need to restart the phone.
2. Sometimes wifi does not detects or even connect to new or old wifi.
But it just does fine when i restart the phone. Mayb its some kind of a bug which is just making the network get stuck in something. but if i leave this two things aside than the phone is awesome no problems at all.
Its really wonderful for daily use. I really liked this phone hoping for bug fixes for my issues from asus. The gaming experience for me was just awesome. The mobile is just worth the price.

Fyi guys, For those who updated their android OS from jelly bean to KK and are now facing issues like the one related to keyboard...Asus will be releasing an update to fix the bugs in KK this end of November. We should expect this to roll out starting end of Nov and should receive it via OTA.
Let's just hope that the update that Asus will be releasing will fix all issues related to KK upgrade.

For the gorila glass...Mine have scrach too it's 1'5 sm long ...I onastly don't know how i did it ,so dont blame the guy for lyeing pls...

However the screen does have real Gorilla glass. But as discussed many times, Corning is a little cheeky when they tell the specs of the glass, and their marketing makes you believe it's indestructible, which is far from the truth.
Notice "up to x times" claims? If you went to complain, they'll simply say that it's UP TO that many times stronger or scratch proof or... Obviously that can also means 0x stronger or even weaker than normal glass.
The point of Gorilla glass is not to make your phone's screen stronger. It is to make it thinner and lighter. The thicker the glass, the worse the colours and contrast, as well as viewing angles.
Thinness of Gorilla glass allows the manufacturers to push the screen a hair thickness away from front of the phone, giving near 180 degree viewing angles, and relative strength comparable to a much thicker standard glass, at 95% less weight and thickness.
I have Gorilla on Apple, Samsung, Oppo and LG as well and use 9H glass right over them all. Just in case. Sony obviously has "just" tempered glass, which 9H actually is, but I'd rather scratch the extra glass than the one that is part of the phone.
One thing for anyone considering 9H glass - it's a bloody fingerprint magnet, and don't take anything thicker than 0.3 mm as it'll affect the touchscreen.

Its fake gorilla glass cheap cheaters . . .its been scratches by nails. . . cheap quality gorilla glass. . .. . .guys don't forget to use screen guard. . .i think in 10,000rs asus zenfone 5 they aint giving gorilla glass even in my friend's mobile also its showing scratches and when we are using screen guard,touch isnt responding well. . .
