this phone is handles very well with jellybean however, recently launched kitkat update destroyed every moment i was enjoying with the phone. after the update, things go freezing when used and requires me to reboot the phone. this kitkat update is going to kill the zenfone market in the philippines. a lot of us lined up to get the phone because of its performance with jellybean OS. if you have kitkat available in your area, DO NOT UPDATE!!!

adjsl, 10 Oct 2014Yes. even after today's update, i have checked and it is o.... morei did a full wipe.and not just one time 3 or 4 times installed 4.4 downgraded to 4.3 upgraded to 4.4 and nothing changed

From ASUS side only 2.19.18 is the lateset update which is available for partially battery draining issue to fix. other than this i haven't listen.
perhaps both are same.

im back to android 4.3 and I dont know why the notification volume is louder than the ringtone. Ive set everything on max. Audio wizard doesnt make any difference and equalizer neither?what is causing this?

Hello everyone,
my last update was 1.18.40.9_20140827_0215...... and now i check my system update with wifi, it shows 1.18.40.10_20140903_98..... can i ignore this update and directly update with latest one??? if it cause any problem?
Which is latest and which one is best?
