Dear tomaaz...I have a question that the updates I missed by doing fota update only. . ..will I get all the updates in kitkat update ...
And at what time kitkat will be here if I can do the full update which can increase my battery power and the camera could be more clear. ...

how to update OTG support for asus zenf... moreDoing only selective updates could break your phone and cause many problems, as such I discourage you from doing that.
All in all 1.18 is OK. As long as you install it complete, not just FOTA, unless you have previous updates all loaded.

But if they are written properly, and updated for JB (and later for KK), they should work just fine.
For any apps installed from outside the Google Play, nobody will give you any warranties.

I have this phone, Is very nice and fast with great feeling of touch. Sometimes you can feel the heat. Battery life isn't very good. If someone knows with the update to kit-kat phone is better? (battery life for example).

Please make confirm if Intel processor does support all older android apps as well ?
I have some apps which is there since pre ICS version of android & some non-play store apps so I am worried if it won't support or start crashing frequently, that's why there is hesitation in my mind to switch over to Intel processes(zenfone 5)

i purchased asus zenfone 5 on 18th sep everything good processor working fine and no lags in the gaming and once i faced UI problem and after sometime it automatically fixed. i am waiting for the kitkat update..... ofcourse battery draining fast i am impressed with the mobile .............

I love this phone! Like what other reviews say, it is worthy for a middle range phone plus it's very affordable. I'm not that so technical when it choosing what cellphone to buy but this phone gives me more of what I expected.
