Hi!! I've got the phone about a week. It just perfect. But i have one problem. I have installed the viber and whatsapp applications. When i get open these apps the system says every time this messege: "Viber tries read contacts", "Whatsapp tries read contacts" or read locations or read sms. Every time. And when its appears, says deny or allow. PLZ HEPL MEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Then 2nd drop shoulder height. 3rd is when i went out of my car, it slips from my pocket, and got wet by the pouring rain. Good thing is the screen didn't broke, my problem is the metal plating can easily get scratches. If you don't want it to get scratches, buy it a jellycase and screen protector.

Dear Tomazz,
I hv done all instruction from u to update the firmware. When i eject from cable, then install the new update, my phone shutdown & then pop out android pic msj, error. They have some instruction that we must do, reboot the phone, factory reset, and others. What should i do?

Charge via the charger and not with usb cable.
Charging from charger is 3 times faster than usb cable

aulia, 20 Sep 2014Dear Tomazz, I hv done all instruction from u to update th... morefor reset go to recovery mode and wipe data than conform it. google for factory mode button combination for asus zenfone 5 or you can search for hard reset which should solve your problem

I have noticed the screen is not scratch proof. Accidentally put a key ring in the same pocket with the phone. Now it has very fine scratches.

Without intense gaming for 40 minute, can easily pass 4 to 4.5 hours. Whats impress me is the smoothness, never experience lag til now

zenfone5users, 20 Sep 2014Just receive my zenfone 5. Used for 2 days not having the b... morePlease Disable all unwanted apps in Setting -> Apps. Try to use flip cover and select your mobile in Flip cover mode from Setting -> Display ->Tick enable view filp cover mode. select screen off time as min as possible. power saver should be in optimization or smart mode.
It works for me . but don't expect too much power backup. as per my openion this mobile is not recommended for high end gamers. however I am a happy costumer of Asus Z5.
