Just receive my zenfone 5. Used for 2 days not having the battery drain issue. Normal screen on time is 3.5 hours with approximately 40 minute of intense gaming.
Heating issue only during gaming.

WORST PHONE THAT I USED!! yes at first i was really amazed but then downfalls started to show up, like battery exaggeratedly drains fast, hangs when multiple applications are open and very bad front camera. WORST THAT WORST I DIDN'T KNOW WHY I BOUGHT THIS PHONE!!!!!

Whats the difference between 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snap... moreSnapdragon is based on ARM architecture, while Atom is based on Intel's x86 architecture. So they are very different.
Atom is generally faster per cycle, and more geared towards being used in computers, although Atom is a very low voltage and ultra low power consumption model, but still - it's geared towards performance. Hyperthreading (additional virtual cores, which utilise free time in the cycle of physical cores) further adds to performance gains.
ARM on the other hand is made for the portable devices in primary use, hence power consumption (the management of it) is the primary concern. So performance of ARM in the same number of cores and same clock may not be on the same level as Atom, but at the same time, it would be able to do the tasks with less wasted energy.
Also ARM contains controllers for many of the smartphone services, like 3G/LTE modem, camera, video encoder/decoder, etc. which saves on power, but at the same time makes specs of ARM phones so similar - as you can't really build anything outside what the ARM chip supports into the phone without severe cost and drain on battery.
So both have their advantages and weaknesses. But given they come from completely different worlds, it's hard to draw a parallel between them.
That said - your question is probably between A501CG and A500KL - I have both here, used both, and for the light work I do on them, I could not see any difference in performance on them. Obviously A500KL is faster as it can run 4G (but is slightly slower on 3G… though that could be just be caused by my network operator), otherwise I could not say that A500KL, despite KitKat was performing any better than the 501CG.
Therefore the decision should boil down to:
- do you need LTE?
- do you need dual SIM?
- are you willing to pay 35% more for LTE?
There's no difference in photos cameras take, no matter what Sony fanboys tell you.

i have downloaded the update from your link..extr... moreWait for next version to be released, don't do OTA, instead download full firmware and load it manually.
But next one should be Kit Kat. That one will overwrite whole OS anyway, not just a small FOTA update.
So you'll be OK at that time also.
There was someone else who used FOTA update to 1.17, skipping 1.15 and 1.16 so his flash and speaker were never updated.
But he could load 1.18 complete firmware to fix that.
Same way you will be able to use 1.19 or KitKat.

I already followw ur instruction, when i extract the file at my notebook, then i transfer it to root file & eject from cable, it pop out notify to install the new update. Then it shutdown and suddently pop out update error.. what should i do

Another problem is with the phone is heating.
Now flipkart is not taking it back as I want to replace this phone with any other brand.

Basically this is the Chinese version of phone that comes with Chinese Android.
You will not be able to install the files off my server, as those are only for WWE-ANDROID.
The Chinese CU version is for greater China, where you'll probably find some applications in Chinese, and not the list of all languages available. But in WWE version every conceivable language is there, and all the apps are in English.
Normally you cannot install international SKU over a Chinese version of the phone.

i have downloaded the update from your link..extracted it and saved to my zf5 storage. but there is no triangle with ! on it appears..i updated my phone via OTA and its the latest..but i think just what you've said, it passed through the previous updates...what am i gonna do next?..how do i apply this complete firmware update?
