I have installed all the firmwares including 1.17. However last night my fone suddenly couldnt hear voice when on call. The mic and speaker are okay but the receiver, i couldnt hear anything. I can only hear the voice on call if im using loudspeaker. Does this mean my fone is broken? :/ help please. Thank you

You need to start adding the phone price range what the phone cost in U.S so that we're able to look out for the purchase instead of hunting for the Price.

dude, 29 Aug 2014asus zenfone is duel-core or quad-core processor? Flipkart... moreit has intel processor that supports hyperthreading.which means single core can do the job exactly equal to two separate cores.thus asus zenfone 5 has dual core so android shows it has quad core

Its really shocking to know that there is No regular VIDEO CALLING in asus??? whereas micromax phones have video call like voice call. ASUS have video call only through skype..viber and all but no regular video calls..so if u dont have data packs so u cant make video calls

I really don't understand why asus make these model variation of a single phone!! i bought a 1gb a501cg & have to return it for a bad performance in battery & camera.

Hi Tomazz,
Zenfone has bluetooth 4.0 but still the transfer speed between two 4.0 devices is slow (150kbps). Why???

So no, I do not know what they would have available there.

Most common scam involves selling A500CG as A501CG.
What you get is 1 GB RAM and if you're really unlucky Chinese Android.

Its my bad luck that Asus zenfone 5 is not available in Saudi Arabia because it is not launched in that country.
Now I am planning to buy it from Flipkart.
Do you have Idea About Zenfone 5 that when it becomes available in that site....

My checker, however, comes up with unknown model on your IMEI.
If you are able to load official firmware into the phone without the message that it's not supported (as it checks for some tags in hardware) your phone is probably genuine.
BTW: 100% genuine phone, with IMEI typed to imei.info shows "LG P700 Optimus L7".
On my checking site (that requires 8 digits as those are for model only), it properly states "ASUS Zenfone 5 A501CG"
When I told imei.info that their entry is wrong, a message they don't have my phone in database appeared...
