Most stuff there is from Chinese sellers, and is most likely Chinese models.
Another thing is that there's a considerable amount of fraud on that site.
That does not mean that all sellers are fraudsters, in fact only a few percent of them, but that can still introduce a significant amount of risk to it.
If you have Asus distributors with shops in your country, buy from there. If you are in India, consider Flipkart.
If anyone is visiting Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, ask them to buy it for you there.
Do NOT buy from China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan - as those are territories are selling "Chinese" models. So beware where seller is located if buying from eBay or similar.
But Alibaba, AliExpress, etc. - I'd avoid them, unless I knew the seller in person :)

Some retailers (especially online ones) are cheating by selling cheaper Chinese versions, which only cost 120$ and name them so that people think they are buying 200$ international versions of the phone.
Buy from reputable company with return guarantee if what they deliver is not what was advertised. If buying in physical shop, check the Firmware Revision in settings, About phone, and what it says on the back of the box.
Box should say WWE-ANDROID, and firmware should have WW in it, not CU-ANDROID, or in firmware CHT, TW or CN.

Firmware on my site is for all WW versions of firmware, with Android WWE.
The file supports both 500 & 501 models as long as they have WW version of firmware already installed.
Note that some early international versions were also 500... And that this is a series name. A bit confusing, I know.
But 501 is international version produced now.
My files are for both TOOF and TOOJ.

Some of my apps are on SD.
You can set the install location to SD and apps that can be installed on SD Card, will be, those that can't, will still be installed to internal memory.
In settings you have Apps, which allows you to move apps from internal to SD memory, or vice versa.
Those that can be moved are under Movable tab.
Note that if you move apps to SD and then remove the card... well you get the picture.

friends just help me out on this. i am on reliance 3g and the max speed i get is 70 KB/sec(560 kbps). whereas the same sim when used in my optimus g pro gives a speed of 900KB/sec(7.2 mbps). so what m i missing now. done every settings to fascilliate that but no relief. can some one provide me soln for that?? apart from that theres no problem.
