They are selling the shitt... moreI am not sure if this is limited to Amazon, but I did warn people to make sure they get WW and not CN, CHT or TW models, as those not only have limited languages installed, but may even come with different modems and wifi standards.
Sorry to hear you got tricked into buying CN version of the phone. Officially it will not be possible to upload WW firmware into it, and I am afraid you might have trouble if you get it somehow forced on, as the hardware ID for modem and wifi module could be different, so driver in firmware might not work with it.
If there's an option to get the thing returned, and get another one with WW configuration, go for it.

Great phone been using it for a month now.. did root just had a problem about the internal memory it says 8gig but it only detects 4.99gig.. how can i install big paid apps if my only remaining internal memory is 1.8gig. too bad..

DO NOT buy this phone on Amazon. They are selling the shitty Chinese ones. My firmware says its 1.94 with date 2019. Of course, this firmware doesn't exist anywhere. Asus support is baffled and they are ignoring me for 2 days now. My privacy settings can't be adjusted so I can't use any app that needs to sync (especially Whatsapp). Buy the official WW from ASUS store. Check if it is a worldwide model first. The pathetic chinese models have Intel stickers on its back side.

AnonD-298686, 28 Aug 2014same with me, do u remember which version of firmware you g... moreIn my case I've received 5 updates, and the phone came with 1.14.6 (one with FB not working), then got updated to 1.14.40, 1.15.40. 1.16.7, 1.16.40 and 1.17.40.

Tap on the icon of a man at the top (second one; after one representing keypad).
Scroll to the contact you want to copy from SIM card.
Long-tap on the contact and from a menu that appears choose Copy Contact.
Another menu will appear, in which tap on Device.
That will copy contact from SIM to device.

Under Wireless & Networks, tap on More…
In it, tap on last entry, Mobile networks.
Locate Network Mode and tap on it.
You will see 2 "tabs" at the top, one for each of your SIM.
To use 2G, tick "Use only 2G networks", to use 3G, clear this setting.

one more thing i want to confirm, my phone becomes hot about 45'c when its on charging and untouched for only half hour even i use charger provided by asus only.
aslo i found a post here by a member that after 1.17 update camera performance has dropped, did you notice these issues too?

Some other devices from Asus were just released with KitKat, and have similar configuration so it could be very soon. ZenUI has already been readied for it, so were most of other apps.

Mine says 4C-T2.
