Can u please suggest me ? Shall i buy Asus Zenfone5! Because among you many user are reporting about its battery life,sound quality,ocasional heating up issues...

U should try the uppr socket which are bit smaller.....

here u can set what type of network u want
set WCDMA ONLY if u want to use 3g internet, then ur speed will will never drop to 2g (from H+ to Edge E )
after ur 3g use just set it to
GSM ONLY or WCDMA PREFERRED to get best calling network in India. as 2g calling is better than 3g in India in most places.
n it takes only 3-4 seconds to do these settings , so do not think it is complicated.

When i click on music's setting's - fine tune audio setting's, the music player force stops
says unfortunately the player has stopped
please help me out ASAP!!

A note to those who upgrade to firmware 1.17.40:
This might not be true for everyone, but in my case at least it automatically ticked "Use only 2G networks"… You need to untick it, and reboot the phone to connect to 3G network.
Just in case anyone suffered lousy speeds and saw E instead of H/H+ next to signal meter.

raaj, 23 Aug 2014my phone not connect my computer If you're using a Mac, use Android File Transfer program. On Windows 7/8 it should show in your computer as a connected device, and in it internal memory (and SD card, if you have any) as separate drives.
If you want to use PC Link, you need to download it for PC as well (from Asus website) and start program on both phone and PC. You will need to enable USB debugging for it to work.
If it does not detect it still, try another cable or another USB port.
Possibly a device started getting installed then something went wrong - maybe you need to uninstall driver on your computer (delete device in Device Manager if Windows) and plug it in again.

I had purchased Zenphone5 16Gb. but this is worst celp... moreI think every smartphone will suck on battery life when compared to Nokia 1110 which seems is what you were using until now.
And most phones take 3-4 hours (or even more, depending on battery capacity and charger current) to charge the battery full. There is apart from Oppo Find7/7A with VOOC charger no other smartphone phone that can charge battery full in around an hour.
We went through, countless times, that the modem in this phone can do same speed connection on 3G as very high end 4G phones can.
So please don't blame your crappy phone network on the phone.
It seems you're not really ready for a smartphone. Your priorities are elsewhere.
Last note: this phone does not support cellular video calls.

AnonD-288293, 23 Aug 2014Someone please post ur experience regarding original asus f... moreI have both, 40$ original one, and 6$ fake one. Both are about the same, but original one's plastic is of better quality.
The window at the front is a good idea, you can see who's calling, time, it shows the number of missed calls, SMS, emails, or allows to turn on a torch, or answer call without opening a flap.
So basically it avoids staining glass of the phone during calls with sweat (or makeup, for ladies), and it automatically turns screen on and off when you open/close the flap (like iPad magnetic cover does).
Oh and both come with new back plate over battery in variety of colours.
Now the less good things - again for both:
The circular hole does leave marks on the screen protector (don't know if also on screen glass if you have no protector), the protection does not cover the side of the glass against scratches or drops, as it's completely exposed, and the side of the flap does not look durable. And that goes for both.
It is a great product, not drop proofing the phone, but a nice feature. I just think that the 6$ one (despite showing fingerprints and sweat stains much more than original) is not much lower quality than the original cover. Except white one gets dirty very quickly, original is a little more stain resistant.
And the side buttons - on original case they are metallic looking, on "fake" one they are black plastic.
Overall, I like it, I used such cases on my previous phones as well, but there you would normally need to open the flap to answer call, before closing it again, etc. This one is very well designed and very functional.
Do you need it though? No, you don't.
I'd recommend you to get the fake one first to see if it's of any value to you, and if it is and you want better quality, go get original one then.

AnonD-297437, 23 Aug 20143G speed is tremendously slow on either sim slots. Only abo... moreMaybe Reliance sucks, but on True-H (850/2100 MHz) in Thailand I get speeds of 7-8 mbps on download, and 3-5 mbps on upload, depending on time of day.
That's 3G, and it's very comparable to other phones, which do 35 mbps down/23 mbps up on 4G.

There is just one major difference between the 2 models.
One has an 8 GB eMMC chip, and the other has 16 GB eMMC chip.
And that's it. The formatter board, the daughterboards, the camera board, the battery, the case, the screws, the screen, the modems… are all the same.
The camera differs between the ZenFone models though - ZF4 has 5 MP with no flash, ZF5 has 8 MP and ZF6 has 13 MP.

DAY 5th
I got new issue with mobile -- Suddenly call disconnected within less than 3 minutes duration for every call and it happened more than 7 times
I want to use bad words here but my comments wont display
I called to merchant site to take this product back and refund my money, but customer care support team testing my patience and asking to wait for 3 to 4 days and they will help me in resolving this issues and I can explained in so many ways dont waste my time and even they are not telling how they will approach and resolve my problem
Finally I come to a conclusion I wasted 13799 Rs(Mobile, screen guard and case cover) for this
I request you guys think before buying this phone, if you buy (" ").

Hi! Need to replace older Nokia C6-00.
Is this (or Zenfone 6) a good buy ?
Browsing the comments, it seems battery is a concern.
One yard-stick, if I compare with C6-00 is:
I use C6-00 with bluetooth through day.
A full-charge of both (C6 and bluetooth) lasts a good approx at least 3 hours of continuous voice call, with 3G active and "always on" email outlook sync - which is my primary requirement.
