I bought asus zenfone 5. The phone is awesome. Some times I experience call got disconnecting after first ring. Even after i switch off the phone, the problem persists. It shows that network failure. However for the same net work ther is no probelm in other phones What to do plz guide me

when the phone hang, battery can not be out. becuase battery fix on inside

Guys, I received Zenfone5 3 days back.
I liked everything in this phone the Zen UI, the hardware, the touch experience, built, and battery is average but what I didn't like was the camera.
The day light camera is pretty good but in night its very much below the mark or you can say of no use.
I read many reviews and suggestions but none of the satisfied me like the ISO settings or OWL mode or any other setting. The flash glows very much but after taking the shot it feels like where the flash light has gone from the photo. I was very dissapointed.
Then I installed Camera 360 from google play and guys you won't believe when I took the very first shot in a completely dark room with flash the pic was awesome and very clear.
So, Zenfone 5/6 users you must try Camera 360 if you really want good pictures with flash.
And, ASUS I think there is a problem in coordination of flash and image capture timing, that's why the images are very dark.
Overall guys this is an awesome phone. The best one I have ever used and I have ever had.

eris, 16 Aug 2014I just bought my zenfone 5 last 2 days ago and I am having ... moreCheck what firmware version you are using, this may have already been fixed.
If you have older than 1.16.40 (for WW model), and did not receive it over the air, you can go to Asus.com, then products, smartphones, pick ZenFone5, click on Support, and downloads - under Android OS you should see the firmware to download.
Pick latest one for your model (note the 2-3 letter code, like CN, TW, CHT, WW - make sure you pick same as your phone), download it, unzip the file, and place it in the root of internal memory of the phone via USB cable.
Once copied, unplug the cable and you should get notification that system update is available, do you want to install it.
Check if this fixes the issue. If not, I recommend you contact Asus and report the issue. I don't think they read this page...

Both 1 and 2 GB models are available.
Best is to check the back of a sealed box, there's a sticker at the back stating the specs, or if already open box, check in settings.

But Corning's glass is only scratch proof, not shatter proof.
Apple and Samsung also use it and in this drop-test you can see that it shattered completely when falling on its face:

I do not think that Asus is cheating. Gorilla Glass is not expensive like sapphire glass, so I see no reason for Asus to cheat on it.
Obviously I will not try to scratch it now to check whether it is really scratch proof, but this could possibly be an issue of too high expectations built by the Corning marketing folks.

I just bought my zenfone 5 last 2 days ago and I am having problems downloading in google play, it just saying that it was installing but not progressing but if i restarted my phone then its start downloading please fix.
