well, i will try pos... moreI just noticed that the notification light is working again. But this time it's different, it's blinking quite fast for the received email, not like before where it was maybe 1x per 2 seconds, now it's like 2 or 3x per second. Looks annoying.
Now note this thing was broken with the firmware that fixed the Facebook crash. Then 2 more large updates came, 1.15 and 1.16 I think, on which I think I tested only on 1.15 and it didn't work. Can't remember if I tested on 16... but then yesterday another OTA update was received and today I tried again, and it works.
Now I use the Motorola's widget to turn it on, as Asus has no setting to turn the light on/off or set anything.
Obviously it would be really nice if they added the some way of adjusting it into the device settings.
This was tested on WW version of ZenFone 5, 8 GB, 3G, 2 GB RAM. I cannot comment for any other version.

well ive had a pretty good experience with asus service center for my asus nexus 7 2012. the charger/usb cable was faulty and was replaced without hassles. just ordered zenfone 5 8gb black hope i like it :)

Guys how is Asus's after sales service? Did anyone actually go to a service center? Someone has told me that it is not up to mark. I could be totally wrong but it would be great if someone commented on this.

I have asus z5 phone & want to connect my laptop ( acer aspire 5738) 'PC link' is working fine with USB cable but it is not working with bluetooth also 'Remote link'is not working, pls reply. i am waiting for your reply.

I just bought zenfone 5. But the video can't record anything. Error video. I did restart the phone several time but it still the same. Do u know anything about it because I want to avoid sending to services centre. Please anyone know how to fix it?. Thanks.

Is it just because you own a Zenfone 5 that you are trashing it or is it due to some problems that you actually encountered?. I was going all out for Mi3 until I saw your solo fight aginst Mi3 in all the user forums? Could you kindly elaborate once and for all, what are the problems that you see in Mi3 which makes it less good as compared to Zenfone.

Anycase I have posted the queries to Asus 2 days back,but no reply yet.
Today I have installed the whole package of 1.16.40.50,and is in the process of restoring the application.So far LED is working.Will have to wait till 48hrs to a have verdict on this!!!

Hello Every One,
I had purchased this Zenfone on 27th of July. And till now I have replaced 3 cell phones, each with a new problem
The basic problem that I observe is, that this phones got heated so fastly and so badly. And the battery life is also not that good. It is about 4 hours. And the Flash of this phone is bad.
