Asus just relegated itself to the rank of generic Chinese copycats. No innovation. only excuse is to "we have to follow trends". Nokia 7+ all the way..

If the price is under rs.20000 then I am sure it will be surely a killer for most of other brands of same price segment . Asus pls keep the price under 20000 rupees and then see this model will become king of the market,surely a killer of other brands

The Zenfone 5z ZS620KL (top end version of the Zenfone 5) has an estimated price of 480 EUR.
I hope this version could be cheaper by another 100-200

AnonD-468012, 28 Feb 2018The notch = Auto copy? The widest mind's comment I have seen.I am not saying that Asus is copying Apple, but from experience what we seen over few years, every single product is not trying to match Apple nowadays.
Of course I can say, yyyyy bad apple, he is copying Motorola Design buuu. My point was that this phone from distance looks like X and maybe, I assume, that could be the reason, why someone wants that to copy and buy - they want to have apple but don't have courage or money or I don't know.
On the other hand, it is a little different from what we saw in past so good point for new design (except it is still big paddle with colors).

I think this phone is for fooling others that you bought something expensive and extraordinary (apple X). This has nothing to do with sensible design as it seems to be 1:1 copy. Also price I guess would be more than expected so better choice will be Xiaomi here.
But yea, why not. They need to come with something interesting as there is so much phones out there and no one want to buy them anymore.
