People who say the battery life no good is LIE !!! I can say this phone have good battery life bro! . Can stay on 2 day with active social media, streaming, sms, phone, game i play : trial extreme 4... and I can say I am very satisfied with asus zenfone 6.

vanjackie, 11 Feb 2015I was wondering why this zendfond6 is hot when I using wifi... moreits not hot its warm. and thats just the wayit works. ever felt a adapter of a powerfull laptop thats way warmer then a Phone charger because the power in needs to be converted. that happend with resistance and that creates heat henceit feels warm.
same for the battery working as intended charging created some heat but people that say it hurts their hands or its to hot to touch are either lying or made out of icecream or are just sissys haha.
remember pc graphic cards regularly go to 95 degreen celcius en untill recently cpu's on a desktop did aswell so its not surprising that phones do create some warmth.

My Zen6 phone likes to disable the sims (ie no signal on both) - and requires a reboot to re-enable - so its not really a reliable phone.
I also get the random reboots - no big deal, its probably fixing my sims when it does it.
I'm buying some other phone.

Try xiaomi redmi note,... moresorry but the redmi has:
- a smaller screen
- worse camera module even tho its also 13 MP the optics are worse
- less bands availeble so not working in many countrys so be VERRY aware of your countrs networks are supported.
- less storage as its only a 8gb Phone where the zenfone comes in 16 and 32 gb aswell.
and battery life according to gsm arena is way worse then zenfone 6 !

i get atleast 8 hours but up to 10 hours out of my battery (screen on time.
Where according to these charts the redmi doesnt even get to 6 hours.

Heck even tablets wont last long with even bigger batterys.
and movie viewing is fine i can easely watch 7 hours of movies.
people expect to much.
yes you can play a game but it will have consequences for battery life.
fact is that this phones battery is really good and will easely last 8 hours screen time and 2 days standby with normal usage (gaming is not normal usage!)
people come here and say battery no good no backup which are first of pointless terms then they go blame people that have tested propperly and know what thephone is capable of to work for asus... on my last LG Phone i had almost double the battery life of the people that werent capable of managing the Phone and they also said i worked for lg... i need to get my payments soon as so far they all havent payed me a penny i just speak facts nothing else.
if people want help with there Phone they need to start spilling details rather then just complain about battery life which infact might be fine but ruined by their usage pattern or crappy apps.
so spill it screen brightness, gps usage, wifi quality and version, data signal quality , 2g? 3g? , usage, which apps are installed,whats your screen on time? and post screenshots so we can verify this and see whats happening. dont complain with no information it shows you have no clue nore want actual help.
theres lots of positive reviews so the ones that arent positive clearly are doing something wrong and theres many people willing to help but you cant help the unwilling.
so if you want hep spill details if not stay away as your posts are useless and do not help the community.
guess thats a bad thing about Phone arena not needing people to sign in all trolls come out of the woods.

Battery life are really bad.....dont even trust when some people said updating fw will fix it....those people are zenfone salesman.....:p
Its smooth for sure....but you cant bring it outdoor whitout powerbank!
All zenfone series battery suks!
Thank god i have sold my zen5 And 6....
