It is known, that you only have to do some settings ...
and the ASUS 6z has good ratings and reviews even on Flipkart,
despite "the known" amount of trolling people in India.
I follow ASUS India on Twitter,
it is just terrible that you are doing there ...

I am facing the same issue and calling does not work unless using a headphone with mic. Indian Retailer Flipkart is not issuing Refund and the only option is Replacement - which given the known manufacturing defects, doesn't improve the situation.

Excuse 6z, 16 Jul 2019Yes, tried 4 SIMs, different carriers. My colleague is also... moreAnd Notebookcheck's review confirms it too. Also i noticed the GPS is quite crappy, so are speakers and display has poor uniformity. And battery is pretty average.
So this is a great phone on paper, but still typical Asus - poorly build, poorly optimized.

Feedback after 2 weeks usage.
The Asus Zenfone 6/6z CANNOT:
1. Make phone calls
2. Take low light photos
3. Focus while shooting in slow motion
4. Last 15 mins of gaming or video without getting unbearably hot (>60 degrees)
5. Get through 1 full day of battery usage on single charge, with day starting at 9am.

Have a sinking feeling of wasted my hard earned money. I am not able to make calls with this device despite getting full network connectivity. Only connects voice calls 2/10 times and when the call is connected I am unable to hear the other person. Disabling Outdoor mode makes no difference at all as all I can hear is noise. I have tried this at different locations (workplace, home, friend's place) before registering a complaint with retailer. Hope I get a refund.

Those who have earpiece issue,please disable sync volume and outdoor mode,then your problem will be solved 😊

It is usual, that some markets starting months later (or never lol).
Gearbest/ China-shops offer Asian version (model B at ASUS), so limited 4G Bands support for EU and US!
Demand is much higher, than supply, so some retailers asking over list price.
I still do not know a better option in this price range ...
so You can suggest some phones with
- full-screen (without any disturbing things, like notch & co.)
- flagship SoC,
- 3,5mm audio out,
- color notification light,
- 3 card-slots and
- at least 5000mAh battery

This is only a WiFi-tablet and not a phone. You cannot make calls with this device at all. 4G and 3G reception are non existent. Indian retailers are not accepting returns and consumer complaints are piling up! Also, night time camera is bad with flash not working.

Still cant get one in the North America market.
Gearbest is selling it on $549 for 64gb Model which is 50$ higher than MSRP, and not sure it is global model.
I was the best phone for me when it first released, but now I can find better option after 2 month

A very good quality phablet but too expensive price...unaffordable for budget les people.More than 90 % worldwide people.Comment based on gsmArena specification and its disclaimer.Dearest Asus . Why so unaffordable , 60 % extra price....PA !?
