As it's a cheap LCD, does it have any ghosting? My Mi Max 2 is dirt cheap but has no ghosting, yet my Mate 20 which costs 5x more does have ghosting.

Plus blacks are really black on OLED's while not quite so on LEDs... So... bring on the fight with the standardization association, not with me...
I am also a Galaxy user from the very beginning of the branding's inception...
Owned a S2, S3, S4 Active (TFT LCD) jumping then to the great Note series starting with the Note4 as I was close to getting a Note3 but I'm glad I waited for the perfection of the never to be beaten King Note4 as all the others were in my opinion not yet fully well-built devices. Wanted to upgrade to the Note5 but it was so limited that I'm also glad I didn't get it and while the wait was never-ending as the Note6 never came out, I actually got the Note7 and briefly had it but we know what happened so I returned it. Note8 was a step in a new direction and I wanted it but I'm glad once again that I waited and got the almost perfected Note 9 instead.
Good things do come to those who wait, eh? :)
And about the eye strain issue, I believe it's just your sensitive eyes and other people's sensitive eyes. Most likely you like to use the brightness at a very high setting blasting full white at your face especially at night so no wonder your eyes are fatigued. I don't do that, I have my brightness at an acceptable for me low and I have the blue light filter on all the time so yeah.. that's your issue with your eyes and not mine.
Plus, I have a LG V20 and the LCD on it makes no difference to me compared to the AMOLED on my Note's except for the obvious slight color differences as these are two different display technologies in the first place.

Ffffuuu.. why does ZenFone have to be so big, if it was a 5''-5.5'' in it's all screen form I'd swim seas to get it.

Other brands are already starting with 5,000mah batterys and looking at stock or near stock Android.

Just the best smartphone right nos (2019-06-06). Responsive, fast. AnTuTu gives it almost 390 000 pts. Ahead of S10 or Pixel 3. Caméra IS just wonderful... For a (quite) soft Price : €499, 6/64 Gigs. BUY IT if you owe it !!!

I am a user of Galaxy series (note1, 4, s7 and now note 9), though i feel AMOLED is good, it does strain eyes a lot... lg g6 i used earlier had LCD screen and it doesnt strain eyes much to me.
