Lol, you probably don't even even have a clue what was before LED's...So let me shine some light on you so that you know that LCD's didn't always have LED's as their backlight as CCFL's were there before...And by the way, I was talking about liquid crystal displays vs LED's specifically. That's a 1 vs 1 not few against few as in LCD's with LED's vs LED's which you were getting at...

The 6GB 64GB and 6 GB 128GB versions can already be ordered in Asus' German eShop, the 8GB 256 GB version will be released at the end of June according to an email I got from them.

p3dr4m.2002, 01 Jun 2019Asus Zenfone 6 or Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro ???i'd go for this one, just don't trust the internal build quality of the k20 pro. amoled and sd855 at that price... a little too good to be true. and when something is too good to be true, it usually isn't! amyway, the global version of that thing will be more expensive as well, o expect it to go near the zenfone price point. anyway, even with the lcd and less cameras, i think the zenfone 6 is a bit better.

Bloody hell. When is this phone being released (jokingly I'm starting to think this was just a prototype) Honestly 4th June and no update :/ it's a shame because this phone seems so underrated

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Asus claims that it 2 x lossless digital zoom.Would be great, but there is no hardware to do that. Best they can do is to make 48MP photo and crop it, but that's not a zoom really.
Nevertheless, can you link the source of your claim? Would like to see this from Asus.

Anonymous, 31 May 2019It has a lossless 2X camera zoom.Unfortunately, no. It has no appropriate hardware built-in. All it can do is digital zoom, go to the review on gsmarena, quote:
"You switch modes by swiping side to side, there's a main/wide toggle and a 1.0x/2.0x zoom button for engaging the digital zoom"

-fairly low display contrast (1200)
-incosistent maximum brightness from app to app (maybe will be fixed at some point)
-bad camera processing (fixed to some degree, but still pretty bad)
-a bit too heavy and big (heavier and larger than the official lying specs)
-the 5000mAh battery is big, but there are a lot of 4000mAh models that last almost the same, probably has about 4500-4600 real spec)
Still the best on the market, because most phones have fatal flaws. Also, subjective, since I disqualify OLEDs from the start due to burn in and other problems.
