ASUS just needs to make a special version with these things to make it the world's best phone (personal wish-list):
- OLED
- Replaceable battery
- IR Blaster
- In-screen fingerprint scanner
- IP68 dust/water proof (if possible with the replaceable battery)
- 5G NSA / Sub6 / mmWave
- 1
- 123mobile

Somehow the design are so plain it kinda hurts looking at it especially the asus logo on the back, they really should hire better designer with a better design its guaranteed to be a Flagship instead of flagship killer

While the real thing isn't that pop out.
It really depend which image people like.
Just like the front facing camera beautification mode, selfie lover love it.

Discussing between OLED and LCD.
Yes, OLED being describe as more superior than LCD, due to it's true black, more punchy color, wider color gamut, wide viewing angle. However, it is more costly to implement.
LCD almost can achieve similar result, just not having true black color in total low light viewing, where easily can see the back light, side by side still less punchy than AMOLED.
Then, there is the color preference on our eye. Most people like vivid saturated color screen that is popularized by Samsung and iPhone screen that show off what maximum color saturation is all about and the strong color makes the image pop.
There are others that comment that vivid color is not accurate in color representation, some blame these make color look fake, unnatural.
This is where LCD comes in, not as saturated, but more natural looking than AMOLED screen. Then LCD screen is more durable than AMOLED, due to having much longer lifetime.
For those who hate LCD, get rid of this phone, this phone is not for you.
For those who really doesn't matter on screen tech of choice, this phone actually offer more value than you can think.
I have these phone using side by side, at long term use, my eye actually prefer the natural looking LCD, despite it look dull compare to AMOLED screen.

I think the real cons would be the flip camera itself.
I just read inside if want to use the face unlock, the rear camera would flip up to take image of your face for face unlock.
Imagine if we are not holding the phone up, just leave it on table, would there be a sensor to prevent the camera miss flip if it is laid on a flat surface, or imagine we put the phone in the pocket and miss click the power button for screen on.
I know, this similar hazard will happen on OPPO Find X, Vivo Nex S, OPPO Reno.

These are what I want above the oled or 5G connectivity (which is still in beta fase?). It's all about priorities in the end tho

It's quite a good phone with reasonable price but the only thing i disappointed is that, it is not amoled display nor water and dust resistant. Fingerprint in display and 5G support is optional but quite nice to have to me.

Cons :
USB 2.1 instead of 3.0
No IR
Storage is UFS2.1 instead of new UFS3.0 which are double Bandwidth and speed for moving data and play games.
Main Camera is F/1.79 now days it is F/1.5 or F/1.6 ( better night photography)
Slow Charging 18W Compare to new 22.5W to 55W fast charging but still Battery is 5000Mah
other than this, all amazing, because it has fastest processor and amazing battery and super wide angle camera ( 11mm) and Finally a Brand Name Famous in Motherboard and gaming so no worry about explode ! (specially battery is Li-Po and not Li-on)
waiting for gaming pad to be install on this phone same as ROG because it is faster than ROG and half the price :)
