I really wanna like this phone, but that SD888 is a no-go. They easily could have top shelf performance from the SD780, and had much better battery life. If I want something somewhat compact, I may go with the S20 FE 5G. Let's wait for the Xperia 5 III, though, to see if my suspicions about bad standby and overall battery and SD888 are true.

              Those bezels are really thick, bordering on ugly...If you are ready to spend 600 dollars on a phone, make yourself a favor, spend 100 dollars more and buy a real compact flagship, the S21. And think about OS, resale value, accessories availability, service centers, upgrades, ...etc.

                    After going through the leaks, I was so excited to finally get a no-compromise phone after a long time but then Asus had to mess-up somewhere. This one ticks most of the boxes but doesn't support microSD and speaker loudness is just okish. Its elder sibling Zenfone 8 Flip has dedicated microSD slot but lacks OIS, headphone jack and FM radio. What a let-down for someone craving for a full-featured flagship!
                    I wish LG had survived in the smartphone market.

                      What a great designed phone, minus the sd slot.
                      I will not buy asus phone anyway. I prefer other brands.

                        Finally, a worthy viable replacement for the LG V60 and a perfect rival to the Sony Xperia 5 Mk3. Glad to see FM Radio support on a flagship-grade smartphone again.

                          I mean if samsung put these specs in the s21 fe then It would be in my hands in 2 seconds

                            LG V30 looks better than this and it's released in 2017!

                                I don't know about others here.
                                But I am gonna get this ASAP!!!!
                                I was literally praying for a small sized flagship phone and Asus made it possible :D

Having 10 times slower port on flagship device isnt something asus should be proud of. For mid and low range its ok, but not for high end devices.

                                    The only feature I need is an IR port. And lots of $ :)
