Anonymous, 12 May 2021Samsung also did that so...Samsung removed sd slot, but they have usb 3.2 port on s21 series (just like s20). Having 10 times slower port on flagship device isnt something asus should be proud of. For mid and low range its ok, but not for high end devices.

will the Zenfone 8 have support for MHL? E.g. connecting the thing via USB C to any HDMI television set, by using any typical hub or "USB-C to HDMI" cable?

If they can somehow combine the 8 & flip, they'd have the perfect phone. Water resistance, no camera cut-out, Micro SD card, a bit bigger of a screen, & FM Radio in one phone, it'd be perfect. I'll still get the 8, glad they're coming to America this year.

This is phone of the year already, amazing camera, out of this world performance, amazing simple design, jacked internals, lightweight, small, 120hz, class leading speakers, 8K video, chart topping performance for its class, IP68 dust and water resistance rating, 5G. i love it i love it I LOVE IT!!! all for expected $800. this is an amazing deal

I think the main reason why they're doing tall screens is so they can say we are giving you a 5.9" screen even though functionally it's smaller when you do anything meaningful.
