Could've been very perfect smartphone for me. But a little compromise that there is no sd card ruined everything.
Shouldn't have removed micro sd card option Asus. Otherwise this phone could've been the masterpiece.
Now i am confused to buy it or not just because of micro sd card option missing . i need to think like that. I have a 1 tb memory card of sandisk should i throw away a 400$ card ? 🙄

When you watching youtube video in 16:9 display, you will see black bar in your screen. Yes you can zooming in-out but today phone display standard will be match to what sony did with their phone which is 21:9

It is weird this one has much more RAM than the more premium Flip model, and this has 120 HZ refresh rate, while the Flip has only 90 HZ. What I mean 90 HZ is NOT flagship worth this year.

Kinda sad that this is a small phone but is a 20.5:9 Ratio! Like wth! That means its 6 inch and skinny! We want a 16:9 bc i dont want any excess screen when im watching videos! I get that others want a tall skinny phone but please i hope that others make a 16:9 ratio smartphone bc all companies are ignoring it as of now!

ugly...heavy...ips...bad design
Sure, but the target group is just not the same.
1.) Ugly/bad design...Simply put a protect case. Not gonna pay more for the appearance which the only use is to "brag" about it. Put Apple logo on the phone and these subjective opinions will swap. Appearance is always subjective.
2.) Heavy... indeed heavy, but take battery 5160mAh into consideration, if the battery is same as the Meizu 16s pro, the weight will drop likewise, as well as the price dropping even more. If you can't bear it, than of course this is cons to you, but no complain when Meizu 16s pro made you charge the battery frequently.
3.) ips... well, this varies. Some group likes ips over amoled while other group likes the opposite. Each has their pros and cons, this is still subjective.
The burn-in / greenish / fake colors / eyesore / etc...While other side is not bright enough under sun / color not fresh / bright in the black / battery draining ... etc.

Don't compare different phones to one specific phone.
Talking about 16s Pro, then stick with it.
Comparing different phones against 1 phone is meaningless.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra camera is better than Meizu 16s Pro.
iPhone 12 Pro Max chipset is better thant Meizu 16s Pro.
Poco X3 pro price is cheaper than Meizu 16s Pro.
Energizer Power Max P18K battery backup is better than Meizu 16s Pro.
Nokia 3310 is lighter than Meizu 16s Pro.
etc...

Hope that ASUS takes LG place, with great audiocentric phone (and they will get LG audience), with ASUS design, flip module, great selfies, hardware knowledge, trimmed ZenUI near stock and quad DAC, stereo speakers would be hit.
And better afordabillity.

Nice compact phone, probably not cheap, but you can't have it all.
Memory card, 3.5mm jack and stereo speakers...great
But no wireless charging, and ASUS phones are hard to find...
Can't wait to read the review

While the Snapdragon 888 1,139 single core & 3,794 on multi core! Honey your crap has never beaten the Snapdragon 888 and 865 and even the 855 it is on par with the snapdragon 845 tho but the sd845 still has a higher multi score 1986 compared to your craps 1303!
