I know we need version c for USA but how to tell which version from the phone? Does it say which version from the box? or from the system inside the phone?

I had spent much time searching for info on compatible networks (or should I say networks that had not blacklisted the Zenfone 9). Most info I googled was misleading at best. So I took the plunge and just received my phone. BE ADVISED that the US version works perfectly on AT&T network-as of December 23, 2022. This phone is perfect in all respects. I really don't care if it will not be supported with Android 15. I never keep a phone that long anyway and I am sure that previous Android versions will continue to serve me well!!

Anonymous, 25 Dec 2022Let's face it. It's "small" by today�... moreIt's not to put down Zenfone 9 in any way. It's worth buying just for the headphone jack on a flagship chipset, something we may not even see ever again. Battery is great too despite being "small" by today's standards.

Any issues with the keyboard, as it's a small pho... moreLet's face it. It's "small" by today's standards, but far from small when taken entire smartphone history into account. Which means you lose best of both which are:
1. Not small enough for one handed typing, so you still have to use both hands.
2. But not large enough for typing comfort and accuracy of larger phones (which are considered normal today).
Unfortunately, this problem is something that you'll find with any phone marketed as compact today. I'd suggest not to go for phones based on this particular trait today, because it ends up being a compromise rather than a gain (such as smaller battery and viewing area alongside what's already mentioned about typing). I instead recommend avoid getting phones that are too large.
It's worth mentioning, the smaller size of this phones does make it a bit more comfortable in some situations, but definitely not in typing as mentioned.
It's also recommended not to use the supplied case as it's too slippery. It may rather be better to use it caseless rather than using supplied case because you'll be far less likely to drop it!

I bought it brand new. After 3 hours of usage the phone won’t even charge,now the battery is completely empty and i cannot recharge it

Small phone with good battery is very rare and tempting but the price and only 2 years of Android are really sad.

As an ex Zenfone user when i tried it in a local Erafone (Erafone is a phone store her in Indonesia) it was amazing as i could use it one handed and i had never tried stock android. As Asus's Zenfone line is the only one that make phones with (almost) stock android in Indonesia as Google doesn't sell their Pixel here in Indoensia as you have to import it or buy it somewhere online like Tokopedia (Tokopedia is an online marketplace her in Indonesia) as we can't try them in stores and do note that sometimes importing things like phones and tablet you have to register the imei to Kemenperin.

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2022not everybody have a giant handsI do have xx-giant hands and the other phones cannot be used with one hand, which is really important for me! So even with giant hands u will still need both hands to operate on almost every other smartphone! So this size is really appreciated!

If it doesn't have wireless charging, then why not give it a metal body? The price certainly justifies that!
