If this phone has USB-C 3.0 with HDMI ALT video output, this is definitely in my list. About time the Zenfone got such treatment.

The last hope to upgrade my Pixel 3a with a decent and compact Android phone. Since Pixels are pretty crappy these days, there is hardly any room left besides going to Apple (what I do not want to do).

The Zenfone 8 fell short by missing expandable storage and wireless charging.
It'd be nice if Asus were to address both of these shortcomings. I don't think they will, though. Which is a shame. They'll die on the beach yet again with me. I rather keep by older S10e wich has both those things (and, let's face it, better software) than to switch to a Zenfone 9 without them. The newer processor and more RAM isn't enough to make up for the far more useful things in my book like expandable storage and wireless charging.

800€ for no telephoto camera and subpar design ( aysmmetrical bezels ). No SDcard slot either. Pass.
