I love the looks of this phone, and it is good to see a compact phone when all of the phones are huge as a brick. What they should have done is to make smaller bezels, so you have an even smaller phone.

Those bezels are so 2018. Also only 256gb kills it for me. Too bad.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2022And lose data forever?Sdcards aren't as fragile as you think, that it breaks every so often. Physically, it's well protected within the phone. And an sdcard from good brand will last for many years without getting corrupted, so you'd probably change several phones before changing the sdcard. By then you'd taken many many backups in your PC.

8+ gen1 is impressive and the slightest difference between dimensity and tsmc chip won't be noticeable at all for most of the single handed uses.
Would anyday prefer a brand which offers complementary (very good) cases and adapters in the box over the ones supposedly caring for nature.
Zenfone 8 just lacked a little in camera and cooling(read battery life) yet it was a steal deal for around 35-40k using GSTIN.

-Use 60Hz, lower brightness... moreDon't understand why you promote flash drives which you need to plug/unplug always and don't you understand why they invented sdcard which you can place inside the phone and forget about it, instead of some usb flash drive which is nothing but hassle on a phone? Even for your computer, if you wanted to increase its storage, do you keep a usb flash drive plugged in instead of buying a new ssd/hdd???
Although refresh rate doesn't increase functionality, any refresh rate lower than 90hz isn't good because we've become used to at higher refresh rate pushed by manufacturers. 90hz isn't bad for battery at all.
I'm not sure how is wireless charging safer, as the charger pad is still wired. If the space is negligible then I'd rather take a 200mAh increase in battery which will also result in negligible increase in battery size. Most importantly, wireless charging increase price of the phone a lot, which isn't worth it at all.
Anyways, microSD slot also causes negligible increase in size so I'd rather take it over wireless charging anyday.

-Wireless charging is utterly gimmicky and useless so making a device thicker to accommodate it is, well, useless!!! Add bigger battery instead!!!!!
Just add microsd slot or al least totally cancel the 128gb option and add a 512gb option. Sell the 256gb at 128gb's price and 512gb at 256gb's.
