harry, 22 Jan 2016i have realy really annoyed for this draining battery. is t... moreroot your phone.install link2sd to freeze/uninstall bloadware you dont needed,install greenify to hibernate app that you've been used,install no frill cpu to underclock the cpu.
i've get my phone 12 hours and more with 3G data active untill the battery drained...
this phone dont really need 1,2ghz speed unless you want to benchmark this phone to get a high score...i set the cpu to 800mhz and i still can play NFS Most Wanted smoothly!!!

Force Stop the app => Select Clear Cache and data => Restart phone
Update all ZenUI apps, if the issue still persist wipe cache partition and factory reset.

Made a big mistake. .. I brought this phone... Cannot connect to internet... tried to set APN manually but the phone shows "Unfortunately the settings has stopped"
And the camera quality is not good..

So far this model is good, my battery can survive average in 48hours with asus intteligent power save. 3G connection also good, no problem if i want to surf web page or social page. the back camera quite good-can take picture in very low light, only the front camera just 0.3mp VGA and the back of the phone very hot when u use power bank to charge it but no issue when u charge it with standard charger, with the budget i think this is a valuable for money..

2. Cannot detect my sd cards (2units)
3. Cannot transfer data, thats make it slow.
4. Slow response while wake from sleep.
5. Say hi RAM standby even only opening Whatsapp app (150-250mb balance) need to free ram always.
6 start Hot while connecting data. Will continue use if probs solved.
Pros- nice display, asus apps, fit in palm hand, good try asus. Go for zen 5 or higher/latest products.

Got this phone (2 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage) on July 2015 in about Rp 1.600.000,- , and never experienced any problem.
+ Cheap price
+ Strong performance (never crash caused by the phone), smooth and fast multitasking (open Path, Instagram, Line, Dialer, Notes, Calendar, WA in the same time)
+ fast charging and long life battery (except you're turning ON the mobile data in the poor signal situation)
- Bad quality camera (only 5 MP while the screen is 4,5 inch)
- Not good enough for the Pixel Per Inch (ppi) that looks a little ugly on the screen
- sometimes the panel bar that shows silent/vibrate mode is show the wrong word
I hope that minor problem can be fixed from Asus Zen UI, and we can experience the Android Lollipop version.

MRL, 31 Dec 2015I grabbed the 2GB RAM 16GB Storage version and haven't had ... moreYou can use the power saver APP which is inbuilt that might help you to clear RAM & also make sure you use Auto start manager APP to disable APP's running in background.
Facebook consumes too much RAM so make sure you check on your device RAM usage.

darren, 29 Dec 2015i want to buy this phone, but after i read all the comments... moreI grabbed the 2GB RAM 16GB Storage version and haven't had many problems, except for Facebook keeps on crashing when the RAM is less than 200MB free. It runs smoothly for me but expect a lot of app crashes when running with 1GB RAM. Be warned though, Fallout Shelter seems to be able to consume a lot of RAM quickly. If all you use is make calls and text, occasional social media and don't mind being stuck on KitKat you'll find this phone is good enough.
