As per the cost of this phone the features are sufficient , the camera is awesome & the battery backup is good....

ok, so i have given up- the phone was sent back "fixed" and still only barely locks onto 3 satellites. those of you that understand GPS know that a minimum of 4 satellites is required to accurately navigate. its stated that this device has GPS ( USA) and GLONASS ( Russian) as well as Chinese satellites (bei do)?? - the more systems , the better and more accurate.
needless to say- i recieved my device from ASUS unfixed. unchecked, non fuctioning, claiming all was fixed.
I have sent the phone back for a full refund and will now try my luck with XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 3 PRO. ( same price better specs) was going to try the LENOVE K5 note , but they only use the USA GPS and not the RUSSIAN and Chinese satelites. ( more satelites , better navigation)
sorry for the rant guys.
I used to be an ASUS- FAN, lack of customer support has tarnished the brand for me, if you get a fully functional phone best of luck to you .

This a really good phone, for a budget phone that is. I was really impressed with the battery. But with the camera? not so much. It sucks on lowlight both the rear and the front. But with natural bright light you cam take some pretty decent shots. Also the focus is REALLY slow i get annoyed trying to get it focused.

i bought this phone and it doesn't show any bad stuff like the GPS. This phone is amazing and i'm contented that i have it. This is the second ASUS Zenfone that i bought.

I really regret buying this phone the 13mp rear camera is very discouraging for it has a poor quality compares to other cheap phones that has beautiful cameras even it's 8mp or 5mp.And the front camera it's very horrible..I wish I didn't buy this phone.. ASUS is very dissapointing. I think they have best quality in laptops and not on their celphones..

If you are looking for phone to play POKEMON GO, DO NOT buy this. I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS! It has a horrible GPS function. Im satisfied with the other function though...

Ok , so here is the email i got back from my phone retailer as to why the GPS does not work,

very interesting, i used a GPS tester, which doesnt use a sim card- i had my wifi on, ( incase the app or apps need data) ( i never had any issues with data on any other app like facebook) and i could only ever pick up 3 satelites at best.
Asus is spreading lies to cover up a chronic issue- i dont believe its the sim card slot, i never had issues with data or calls- i will get my phone back in a few days and test and report back here with the results.
